I would love to see a LCY type of female lead especially if the male lead was also the same. I feel like every time they attempt to do that they fall short because they don't want to make the female lead characters to sinister because actresses and female leads are already judged more harshly compared to men/male lead roles.
I feel like there are a few roles where #2 is half true? For example, Ruyi in Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. However, she doesn't ever trick or mislead the male lead for her ambitions so that's why I said half. For number 1, maybe Feng Zhi Wei in Rise of the Phoenixes or WY in Yanxi Palace? However, FZW becomes...stupid toward the end. Lmao, maybe that's too strong of a word to describe her choices at the end.

It's my favorite part! Especially when he says "If I can't even handle this (referring to the lightening strikes) how can I marry her?" and when after he's informed that if he tries to escape from prison he'll have to taken 100 heavenly lightening strikes and then he says "every one of them" in response to FC asking him how can he endure all that. Lol, I've replayed this scene so many times. I love it so much.
I've watched this show so many times since it first came out. One thing that remains the same to me is that XF's love for LCY/GXW amazes me. Even after everything he's done to her she still loves him. She says she hates him but she really doesn't. I honestly hope that no one ever has to experience loving someone like this. A part of me wonders if she has some sort of trauma bond with him.

The "he he" sound that Lamu and YT make at the market. The scene where QK keeps getting a lot of visitors after the war and CF is biting his fist.
