I just realized that the emojis on the calendar represent events happening for the crazy princess. So the broken heart probably signifies an unhappy ending for her.
You will find out later. It's not a plot hole...there's a reason for it.
The court is super divided and there are a bunch of different fractions. The princess has the backing of another prince who has a large military and is planning to revolt. So the emperor doesn't want to upset her too much so that he can keep things in balance while having Duke Su/himself try to solve the problems within the court 1 by 1. That's a short summary of it at least. So in short, she can do whatever she wants because of who is backing her. Idk what route they will take in the show though but I'm assuming it will be the same.
I think the heart on ep 40 is because in the book, 'JL' and everyone else, thinks that Duke Su is dead. That he…
I didn't read the side stories so I'm not sure if they do or not. They might... At least we get to see them actually get married because I don't remember them getting married in the novel. They were engaged but there wasn't a proper wedding yet if I'm remembering things correctly. Also, do you by chance know what the baby milk/baby bottle emoji is signifying?
The scream I scrumpt with SYR. So is he faking or he actually likes her a bit? Wtf is going on. And Li Fei. That shit is weird. Why she tell that man she likes children? Then the dad being biased af and not really even listening to his mom. Him and SH from Minglan are going 2 for 2. Lastly, that hug between 'JL' and Duke Su? It was giving married. I love them so much. Also, I'm wondering what Duke Su will do when the emperor eventually finds out about him and 'JL'. I'm assuming that where the "chess piece can't stay" line from the trailer comes in?
I think the heart on ep 40 is because in the book, 'JL' and everyone else, thinks that Duke Su is dead. That he died in war. She vows to never marry anyone again. The emperor makes a bet with Duke Su so he can't let her know he's alive until after year. So it could still be a happy ending. The problem though is that YZ is producing this and while most of the time the endings are okay sometimes he acts a bit nuts with his endings....so idk.
I don't know who's worst. The dad here or the dad in Ming Lan.
Was just thinking that! I feel like it might be the dad in Ming Lan though because at least the dad her isn't treating a concubine as if she's his main wife.
Can anyone care to explain this .... If it really happened , this doesn't look good.https://www.instagram.com/reel/C71ZVQaycB3/?igsh=MXV6ZDQ1ZDF6cGd5bQ==In…
Yeah I saw that on douyin but tbh I don't remember them even interacting in the novel so I'm not really sure what that is all about. Excited to see where they take things though.
In the novel, her and XFF's original brother end up together.
I posted it on twitter too. I haven't yet figured out how to watermark stuff but here it is :)
I edited my longer one and posted it as well. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/ADGEfZERCMY?si=uUjp1xRnHAjO2Otw
