Me too. I struggled through the first episode but I will press on in hopes that the actual drama will get better.
I'm done watching and I'm too emotional to really spill what I love and what I really hated but I won't. I summed it into these words. - - Gu Yiye is the one thing that really keep the dra moving. He's character development is superbly done despite the--spoiler( little screen time). There are even bitches even amongst the soldiers and its soo weird but you get to understand that this happened during a period where everything is at the start of new ideas emerging in the military.

LOL it's too long. But I hope you already finished watching it too. Gu Yiye rocks. Tbh

I'm loving Gu Yiye so much!!!!!!!! His character is just so great
Hoping GYY remain single tho but I know I'm the only one hoping for that considering the possible ending. 😭❤️ But GYY and JNZ really did have their chemistry

Just done episode 8 and it gets really better. I was procrastinating watching it cause I'm not into military genre but it's my first drama with Xiao Zhan so I pushed through it and so far I'm not regretting it. It's wonderful.
