Its a show adapted from a manhwa, ofc people dont like how terribly its adapted. Nobody is criticising the actors or the crew, so idk why you are so worked up about people expressing their opinions. Your comment might not please others too, but just as you FREELY expressed ur opinion, others have the same freedom.

Chan is the worst written character by far. They have given him so much screentime with no real character development. He's the same as he was in ep 1. Not to mention its been 8 episodes with barely any progress between heesu and sw. It seems the writers/producers are scared of showing any romance bw them at all. So many things cut out to make space for the 2nd couple's story which turned out to be bland and not a very good plot device. Sigh... and people were swearing it would turn out good from ep 5.

Not being a good friend is enough to dislike him. If he can't maintain a friendship, i can't see him maintaining a relationship w jiyu either, she deserves better. He's the worst character on this show, and writers are using him as a plot device to stretch the story further and giving us meaningless side stories.

Heesu's friendship with chan yeong feels manufactured and so weird, like it was added without any thought because it was in the source story. I dont believe they should even remain friends in the drama. Whenever i see them trying to talk it feels like someone forced them to, not like a friendship that's been developed for years.

If they wanted it to be a queer youth drama they would've added more queer stories instead of erasing them to make way for heteronormativity. Straight couple does feel shallow, because it wasn't developed well. Chan caught feelings out of nowhere, their personalities are still a mystery, ofc it feels shallow. This show flesh out any conflicts of lgbt youth, instead it skirts past them.

In college. Older guy is a senior while younger is a freshman as per one of the behind scenes. I could be mistaken though.

Im the opposite. Though i like suho, i liked the dynamic of the friend group much more, and they aren't even letting all the characters into this story. Also they added many of manhwa elements that happened later on to season 1 so we won't get many iconic scenes too. We wont even get to see the backstories of all char which i loved.

His obsession will never be an excuse for him being an ahole. If appearance is his peak interest, he is shallow, pretentious and needs a big reality check. "May be on the spectrum" yeah no, you can't attribute everything to autism when its not even explicitly mentioned.

Yeah that backstory was so weakly written, who just comes to the conclusion someone is a bully bcos they see them talking, running and sharing stuff? So baffling. Even if he didnt go out of his way he didnt need to berate her in front of her friend. He just has 0 empathy.

Doesn't matter. She was clearly uncomfortable and he chose to stay silent and be cruel. And he was definitely taking her appearance into consideration while berating her. Thats not someone who will get better, and he doesn't deserve to be ml.

Why not? This is not set in today's time. Getting any work even just as receptionist was very possible. And this was not just about being successful, this was about being stuck at home, getting to do nothing except cook and clean while the husband enjoys himself in bars, drinking in the name of doing "business". She needed freedom and her own money and looking at the husband, she was very right to do so.

Why? Couldn't the dad have sacrificed and spend less time drinking with his friends and more time taking of the house and his daughter? Why is sacrifice never expected of men? FL is absolutely right about mother needing freedom to pursue her own career and life. The only wrong mother did was letting her kid witness loud arguments and fights.
