Stoic male leads are so common in cdramas and get accepted very easily so a few stoic FLs are great to have! Its pretty logical for her to not smile during murder investigations, she does smile a bit during the romance scenes but tbh i feel its ultimately the script at fault. They haven't really given much time to explore her character deeper like they have done for ML. The only thing we know abt her is her trauma and even that having an effect on her hasn't been expanded on. This isn't really interfering with my enjoyment of the show though, it might be different for you.

Title As Beautiful as You Spoiler
JX's friend is so weird. She never supported her friend's business, instead of calling for her friends(3 close friends) when her house is broken into, she called her friend's bf??? What sense does that even make? Not to mention she lends him money when her friend at the same time has lost all her money to a scammer. What a shitty friend. Not to mention the loser bf, "Im only in the background" can't even stand her running her business for a few days before he has to whine and wants her to give up her ambitions to marry him. Dont think i wanna continue after seeing the spoilers of him merging companies. The cliched characters are giving nothing different and its the same old story with unrealistic aspects.

Let me clarify because it seems people misunderstood what I meant. “Damsel in distress” may not have been…
I agree, nobody is 100% independent all the time, that isnt the issue for me. A very good example of the man being stronger - Back from the brink(ML is very very strong). I dont think its about a man being physically stronger or saving our MC, its about the writers using the men as tools to be saviours in their stories(multiple times) and not giving their fmc's enough of their own agency despite telling us they are supposed to be physically strong and independent leads. How many times will the FMC have to be saved for the romance to bloom? 3 times? 5 times? Thats a trope. The story shifts the focus on man being strong rather than focusing on their MC's abilities and strengths. Also i never implied that women are less than, if they are not physically strong. Wanting a consistent character is not misogyny. Its just a mismatch in the characterisations and fault of the writers, not fmc's being weak. Im tired of going in circles too like you so lets end it.
Also, I did edit the post!

"Inherently misogynistic" is what this trope is. That is exactly why people don't like this trope. Its not just the term being misogynistic, scenes like these are most often rooted in misogyny portraying the woman as incompetent and physically weak despite being told explicitly that she's strong and independent. There are plenty of fmc's in cdramas who are not physically strong, are saved by men and are still written wonderfully without falling into this trope because there is no similar expectations from them. A woman can also be saved by her friends, family and strangers, but have you wondered why its almost always the ML who is written as the saviour? Misogyny. Saviour complex does not translate into a healthy romance. A woman is not weaker if a man saves her, everybody needs help but if a script keeps writing in multiple times that the man is always saving the heroine of a drama, they want to centralize the man and make him seem more capable than anyone all the time. Its the repetition in these scenes not the content of the scenes itself. The goal is to write a flimsy romance not a good story.

The ML showing up at the last minute coincidentally to save the FMC has always been referred to as the damsel in distress trope. That's not something new. Nobody is required to choose their words according to your preferred vocabulary. It happens a lot in cdramas, a strong woman written superficially but the man coming to save her everytime to portray him as the saviour in a woman's story and enhance the romantic progression. Its meant to centralize the man and his prowess instead of the woman we want to watch. Not saying that's the case here. Its perfectly logical to not want that trope.

Title The Black Swindler Spoiler
This was bad. The cases ep after ep were very repetitive, almost no character growth at all. The FL running after a guy who ignored her most of the drama was really a choice by the writer(horrible one). The ML was so stupid at times, and the cops equally so. They held out until the last ep to arrest him for the big finale which just fell flat. The friend was just plain a bully. I understand she feel sbetrayed, in that case just end the friendship and move on.

Do you know if there is any romance?
The romance is between hanako and eiji. Maybe you'd like to go and see for yourself with clear eyes instead of me spoiling anything else about their story for you. Its a pretty good asadora even if a bit iffy on romance.

Yes, there is. Not much of it though. I'll not spoil you since you didn't ask between whom.

Like it. A very casual watch, nothing complex. There has been an attempt at character depth, and that's enough. Its entertaining enough for when you have nothing else.

Title The Yarns Spoiler
Not even halfway through the episodes and the ML is lying to the autistic mc, taking advantage of her naivety to investigate her and her mom. Feels so icky tbh. They have GPS but the ml after lying and taking mc's phone can't even look at the data and check the cameras corresponding to the times. He just keeps on failing to catch onto any leads time after time.

Almost every character was flawed and selfish, I started hating most of the characters by the end, I disliked…
There is no excuse for cheating. Instead of talking with her he chose to cheat. I agree about chunni though. The worst character, the way she treated her mom. Im halfway through and wish there are many consequences for her.

Title Those Days Spoiler
This is so unnecessarily dramatized. Feels like script wants to only deliver a shock value. There is no depth. They didnt establish the relationship enough for us to even feel a loss when the husband died. Ofc bad in laws( these writers always make MILs so much worse). None of the MCs make me want to follow their story. Maybe they should've started the drama with FL being a widow.

Here comes the internal misogyny. Just because you prefer to be a SAHM doesnt mean all women do. There IS always…
"And that is their only value" you will never be happy in your life. You will suffer and suffer greatly because you will never understand how to treat a woman. No woman will want a self loathing and pathetic man. Thats something you will never escape INCEL :)

There are literally more women than men topping statistical and technical fields, loser. Feminists actually want to have equal opportunities, but you wouldn't know that. You spend too much time as an INCEL to ever talk to a woman. Abandoning men when they are upholding the system which discriminates against them, seems a pretty valid choice for women.
Giving up the "peaceful life" when the woman had to work 24x7, do ALL the housework(which takes quite a bit more than the regular 9-7), take care of all kids because men couldn't bother being a present parent, all while starting to work in the 1900s because men failed to do their jobs by starting wars. What you want to say isn't "logic", its called bigotry and misogyny. What you are, is a big and pathetic BIGOT!

From my point of view, the main problem in this drama is neither the king or the princessm I am not saying they…
The eunuch is very useful to him relaying info about grand princess whom the king already sees as a threat. He isn't a very benevolent and kind king, so i expect him to keep rotten seeds by his side to get benefits out of them.
