So just to add onto the outpouring of love for the episode, 6 was just absolutely bonkers levels of good. The initial bit was really necessary and up until they fell in the water, it was a natural portrayal of where they were in their relationship, even with Kinn being Porsche's boss (although tbf to Porsche, does that ever really matter to him? 😅). The bickering and insistence on being right and everything was top tier and shown in that kind of childish but proper way.
Then the joy and fluff of their excursion. MY GOD. I mean, since I saw the first trailer I really loved the both of them, but Apo and Mile absolutely own these characters. I couldn't imagine anyone else in their places. The subtlety of some of their facial expressions and the overtness of their genuine "really getting to know you" phase was shot beautifully, performed exceptionally and written in the perfect way. Everyone keeps mentioning the shirts and them getting lost, but my suspension of disbelief had me forget either circumstance and just believe. The waterfall kiss scene alone had me feeling all kind of ways and that was the general vibe of the episode. An "I could love you... but..." that gave me smiles and melancholy at the same time.
Also, just... that entire last bit following the fall. The apology. The lockpicking and subsequent smacks. Kinn giving Porsche his dream future just so he could be happy. Porsche going back for what they both thought was going to be their last kiss. The anger Kinn had at the world that he couldn't go with Porsche. Then the action (that god-like knife-toss!!!!!) and the final moments.
This show is absolutely everything I had hoped. Everything. ðŸ˜
Okay, there were hints of what could have been a good episode in ep6, but wow did they veer off into absurdity. Dao is incredibly dull - something I've been saying since basically the second or third episode - but also apparently just incredibly histrionic? So that's fun. "The guy I like (who likes me too) has a friend so I'm gonna demand he choose between before we're even a thing." Pretty sure Gia isn't the problem, Dao., you weirdo. Typhoon was relatable in a "I'm into someone who's about to be in a relationship" kind of way until the photo. Then Kluen and him are having a nice conversation and coming to an understanding until he decides to... jump-kiss Dao. Sure, okay, wow, absurd. Then fighting and "I hate you Kluen!" Because Dao clearly didn't mind the jump-kiss and obviously Kluen should have just watched.
Part 2/4 was tolerable and if that had been the vibe of the episode, it could have been solid. The closer they get to being a couple though the less I care about them being a couple. I want to go back to episodes 2 and 3 again, back when it was a cute show about longing, not an overdramatic shit-on-Kluen festival. Frankly he, Fah, and the friends are the only parts of the show that are worth the time.
I've really enjoyed the series, but Oxin Films has no idea how to properly direct or perform drama. It always comes off as hammy - and not in the campy way that the rest of the series has conducted itself. They also love doing incredibly extravagant occasions, and as fun as those can be... they seem really silly honestly.
Still gonna finish the series because I'm invested in the couples, but yeah... Not super. :/
The production is incredibly campy. If it wasn't for the bits of drama that they're attempting (albeit not very hard) to sprinkle in, this would be pretty absurdly entertaining even if stupid. Honestly I stan charactees like Zeyn who just go hard after the person of their affection, so I'm hoping for more direct romance development and less of the attempt at a "royal plotline" in the episodes to come, even if that is unfortunately the overarching narrative.
So I'm trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to be watching KinnPorsche - preferably officially, since I want to support the production team and cast - once it releases. I see that it'll release (at least according to this page) on iQiyi. I live in Canada - in order to watch it, would I need a VPN or would just downloading iQiyi work just fine in theory? Or do we know anything about international release yet?
This was a great deal better than most of their previous productions. The couple is cute, the story is established and not absolutely terrible (I actually like it if I'm being honest, aside from that hilarious love-at-first-sight scene) which is vastly better than their previous series, and the characters are established and for the most part genuinely enjoyable. I'm cautiously optimistic for this series from the pilot. :)

Is this the one? Cause this song annihilates me emotionally ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ and someone posted links to the ost in the comments!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer!
