Every episode of this drama takes more than 1 hour. How could you finish 6 episodes (8~13) in less than 6 hours? The drama watched in abnormal speed is absolutely different from what I watched. That's it.

Yesterday, I saw your comment (you were halfway through it) and the timestamp said 5 hours ago, but your profile said you completed the show at the same time. How could you watch the second half of this drama (6 or 7 episodes) in less than 6 hours? At the very least, this show makes you addicted and makes you finish it quickly.

You shouldn't watch this drama with fast speed. This is the kind of drama that should be only watched with normal speed for good experience, because this story can not be successful without convincing viewers that the old song is like a time machine. Watching with higher speed, you can't experience the emotion of the story with the great BGM and OST , and several hours was wasted.

Another Timestamp Called Youth?! :p

At the beginning, I felt Alice Ke was too old to play 17 yo girl, Chen Yun Ru. However in mid, she looks pretty good to play 18 yo Huang Yu Xuan in university. Interestingly, since 11th episode, Chen Yun Ru becomes more and more beautiful, probably in love. Finally, I understand what it means to have layered acting skills.

I watched this drama several times for free on Viki via VPN with location set in US and Germany until Viki blocked my VPN. Unfortunately, Viki has removed it since 1 year ago. Now, it seems only legally available on Disney+ in Taiwan and Hong Kong, but I am not sure if VPN works because my free TouchVPN has no location to there.

This OST is one of my favorites, and I sometimes listen to it while working. With 1.25x speed, the OST would be terrible for me, and some songs even become annoying.

Obviously, the OST and BGM do not work properly while watching the drama with faster speed.

It wouldn't be a good show if it didn't make you believe that this old song is a time machine, so the production team worked very hard to prepare the OST and BGM. Watching it at a faster speed may ruin the experience of the play. Do you think the OST is iconic?

I'm not talking about the acting, but the adapted script.
The Korean scriptwriter vilified the character of Min Ju more, which the original team worked hard to avoid. Just like Chen Yunru's theme song, they called on the viewer to give her a hand through the lyrics "Come Away With Me".

As Huang Yu Xuan said to Chen Yun Ru, the reason why you are disappointed with something is because you have too high expectations for it. Don't raise your expectations too high for the Korea version, and it's probably not that bad as you thought.
Obviously, the Korean version wanted the entire story to focus more on the main couple's love, so many scenes involving SML and SFL were removed. The most interesting thing is that the Korean version removed a scene of the main couple, which made me understand that the original screenwriter wrote this scene for SFL, Chen Yun Ru. Compared to the original, SFL, Min Ju, is treated very poorly in the remake. Sigh...

This story wouldn't be successful without convincing the audience that the old song is a time machine, but the Korean team seems unaware of it.

There is one thing that is the same between the Korean version and the original version. When Si Heon took Min Ju to school on the first day, her younger brother said that Si Heon was Min Ju's boyfriend, and neither of them denied it, which meant that they had acquiesced in each other's feelings and relation. Their relation keeps until that date in photo shop, Si Heon found Min Ju's signature with different handwriting from Jun Hee.

During lunch time on October 28, 2023, Huang Yu Xuan was at the airport in Taiwan, preparing to return to Shanghai for work after a long vacation. She has been assigned to Shanghai for more than two years. Since her flight was delayed, she decided to have lunch at the airport. When she came to the dining area with her meal, the seats were almost full, leaving only a four-seater table with two empty seats. She decided to ask if she could sit next to the two gentlemen.
Mo Jun Jie: As a good friend, I can drive you to the airport from Tainan. Is that enough of a friend? !
Li Zi Wei: I have been in Canada for so many years, and now you are the only good friend left in Taiwan.

The production team was in a hurry when planning this scene, so I am not satisfied with it and decide to write my own version instead, leaving it to people who have the same understanding of the story as me.

This story has an unfortunate beginning. Compared to it, the ending is definitely not a bad ending. In addition, there are an "Extra Scene" and a movie, hope you like it.

That part is just pure puppy love, and it's probably not as bad as you think. Not only to describe why ML fell deeply in love with FL in 1998, but also to describe why SFL was obsessed with ML and eventually committed suicide to continue the time loop. As a fan of time travel dramas, plot plausibility is very important and I wouldn't buy the story without it.
