I'm soo upset that many people thought that his acting is bad from Business Proposal meanwhile he did outstanding since Still 17 and even got Baeksang Awards from Dr Romantic 2 :((( thankfully his acting shines in Dr Romantic 3. I hope he get many awards this year!

I have a love-hate feelings with the writers for this season really....
At the earlier episodes I feel like it lacks impacts despite the bigger scale while ep 7-10 it feels too dramatic... But when I think about it again, it is necessary and I understand why it has to be that way... I understand what direction and messages she want to deliver. Like we keep saying that it's ridiculous and unrealistic for Woojin to enter the building, but it is pivotal to show Kim Sabu on how much he impacted everyone in Doldam. How flawed his idealistic is. Even though it harsh, it makes sense... I guess I really have to just trust on the writers because it's been awhile since I see a drama which gets better and better in every episodes so far.
Moreover, the more dramatic the story, the crazier the actings showed by our casts. everyone is crazy good (except cha jinman) and I'm so thankful that. The writers provide great scripts for the actors to showcase their full ability. I lost count how many times I thought Han Sukkyu is crazy... Yoon Namoo is crazy... Lee Sungkyung is crazy.. and this episode Ahn Hyoseop is crazy... i'm soo immersed. I cried watching ep 10. I really see them as their characters, real doctors, not actors in a drama.
Also, despite knowing that Kang Dongju will be back for quite some time as many spoilers are out already, I still got goosebumps and screaming when they showed the last 1 minutes of ep 10. It was soo epic!! Director Yoo Inshik is crazy good....

you have no idea how many times i see ppl commenting that they're disappointed by too many romance scene. but that comment mostly came from hyoseop past drama shippers so they're just jealous. they blabbing their mouths just because woojin eunjae scene is so widely talked even with minimum screentime

i'm sooo satisfied with this episode! it feels like SBS and the production team shutting everyone's mouth who keep complaining that this season is not like the previous seasons and have too much romance. people really can't be patient huh? i guess with the current trend with fast-paced plot when a drama can't grab you from the earlier episodes then they already judged it.

on the other hand, i LOOVE that we are now focusing on all people on doldam hospital. even dr yang has his own character development yaay. Also wooow kim minjae and lee sungkyung acting on ep7 are amaaazing...

for sure. i rather have a clean and consistent story even though it takes time to unfold rather than good premise with fast paced plot but goes down as the time goes. i really believe in dr romantic series and i'm pumped to see what we will get for the next episodes!

i agree! kinda using same formula? like she knows that patients with parents-children dynamic will pulling heartstrings hence she keep adding that scene... but i'll patiently wait until we can fully judge it

i hate myself that i kinda bothered by the "low ratings" even though other dramas would kill to achieve dr romantic 3 ratings.
and i think... the writer really take her time to peel the onion, want to specifically address each layers hence we feel like it's kinda slow and unlike the other seasons. but i believe in dr romantic, the story will be amazing so i'll patiently wait while trying to understand each of the stories that unfolds because i became uneasy too. afraid to be disappointed. however, if i could say the best thing about this season:
1. everyone has their own spotlight. like we could see cha eunjae & yoon areum improvement. we could see jung insu backstory. even mr goo has proper screentime too. and i also believe we will see others backstory. therefore, kim sabu screentime got decreased. well.. he has his spotlight on s1 so i kinda understand but i see why people are sad with his smaller screentime on this season.
2. the "villain" is not really a villain. even though the real actor are criminal and i disliked him too, but i tried to be fair judging his character. he is a gray character. harsh and blunt, but he has a point too. especially while debating with kim sabu. at that moment, i understand where he came from and start seeing kim sabu's principal in a new light. idealist vs realist. no one is totally wrong, it's only depends on perspectives. this kind of dynamic is better than pure shallow villain like in s1-2 for me personally. i feel touched too when he defend dr jung, his father-daughter moment with eunjae so far and his moment with woojin after surgery.
3. i also like that this season is the most realistic? like.. they finally showed that they couldn't save every patient. many got sued too. and how dr jung personal life is "fall apart" because he is busy as a doctor. even though i love the s1&2, but it slightly unrealistic and utopian? so its refreshing to see.
4. i LOVE the parallelism. how different yet similar woojin and eunjae scene in s2 and s3, how the minister in s2 helping kim sabu, how the paramedics mom in S2 becoming woojin mom, and now we will get connection between jang donghwa and kim sabu too. i'm excited for jang donghwa character development!
5. woojin-eunjae and euntak-areum lovestory!! i mean!!! im just soo grateful they come back to us and being so lovey dovey :"))))
6. i love kim sabu and its heartbreaking to see him confused and crumbled down questioning his romanticism, but... i like it.... it shows that kim sabu is just a human and imperfect too. means, he also still have room of improvement. so i'm excited to see the remaining episodes!

well they're supposed to be a long-term couple. 3 years couple and woojin has been loving eunjae for 13 years. they're overslept too, not intentionally sleep there. i think the writer really try hard to compensate the lack of romance in S2. so i think it's fair. but i guess their overflowing chemistry really get people worked with only less than 5 minutes screentime lmao

If I'm being honest, ep 1-3 are quite... underwhelming. I am really a big fan of dr romantic series and i've been waiting for the 3rd season enthusiastically like for years, and when it finally happening... idk maybe my expectations were reaaaally high. I'm quite worried also as dr romantic 3 competitors are so intense (the rising Doctor Cha and now adding The Nine Tailed Fox S2). However... all my worries disappeared as the 4th episode is SOOO GOOOD. two surgeries in one episode, emotional rollercoaster (like ive been in a verge of crying two times), the satisfying kim sabu and seo woojin talks with jang donghwa, and of course sweet moment between our two couples aaah this is what I miss from dr romantic :"))) i hope they could keep up the momentum. i really wish the best for dr romantic series because the message, the warmth, the comfort that it gives really differentiate them from other dramas and thats why i love them soo much.

I really hope TRS would sweep up Baeksang Awards HUHUHU they deserve it soo much :((( I'm bitter already that TRS is soo underrated internationally. If they won many Baeksang Awards, hopefully many people will take interest in watching the drama so finger crossed!
My prediction:
- Best Actress
- Best Supporting Actor / Actress
- Best Director / Best Drama
- Popularity Awards

It's quite hard because the popularity of Squid Game would definitely make a bigger chance for it winning many awards, but let's just hope for the best... This is Baeksang, so they will really consider the quality not only popularity

I think people are too harsh on reviewing business proposal because of the success and popularity it has... sometimes we just want to entertain ourselves, not minding cliches or illogical plot as long as it gives us happiness. It doesn't try to achieve the critical acclaim or award-worthy drama status either. It's obvious on how both SBS and Netflix didn't expect the success of ABP based on how they handle the promotion and after-effect of the drama. The rating, the success, and the popularity of ABP clearly accumulated from sooo many people find comfort while watching it, no? If it's not your cup of tea then it's okay, but saying it doesn't deserve the hype &rating while trashing it is clearly not okay. Voicing opinion is fine, but hating is not. I hope you could find your own perfect drama and stay on your favorite drama section!

I'm sooo sooo happy he finally gets the spotlight he deserves!
I can't believe it took him too long for international fans to notice him. Trying to be not biased, but I think among other actors around his age, Hyoseop has the most solid and versatile filmography backed with outstanding acting skills, with many awards including the prestigious Baeksang Awards, plus added with unreal visuals, tall height, talents in musical instruments, and good personality (he even has International Business degree damn). Just like Kang Taemu, he's really good at everything. After 10+ years of watching drama, I finally found my actor ults.
I can't wait for what stores for him in the future. I believe he will have a bright future as long as he doesn't mess up (but I don't think he will). Fighting!!

I want to specifically appreciate ahn hyoseop as kang taemu.

if anyone has followed business proposal since the premiere or even before, you know that hyoseop has HUGE backlash, in korea and internationally on how he didn't suit the role, how he was soo awkward that sejeong is the one who hard carried the acting, and hari has better chemistry with youngseo. Me too, kinda agree he was still adjusting on the first two episodes, but now... wow... it feels like kang taemu really exists. his posture, mannerism, speech, behavior, aura, everything... totally screams rich, smart, handsome, confident person, but still give innocent, clumsy, and humane feeling... the most outstanding ceo character in the fictional world i think? and you could also see the difference in bts where hyoseop is even more innocent, more smiley, has an approachable aura, and doesn't stand straightly but rather hunched? its insane.

I keep amazed by his acting, and he deserves all the glory from the success of business proposal, together with other casts and staffs. Business proposal definitely a masterpiece.

wah i really can't wait for our FL & ML to start dating... i feel like they will become the sweetest couple ever. at this pace, I'll guess we will see it at the ep8. because they both can cook if they don't have a scene flirting while cooking together I'm going to throw hands

I think what makes Business Proposal ahead of other romcom dramas are:
- The acting. all the actors are all out, especially on comedic scenes. I think of them as real people, not actors playing a character.
- this drama is a true definition of romantic + COMEDY. many romcoms are not that funny, but this drama is committed to its genre and I applaud them for their attempt because it works
- The chemistry pls. No rom-com would work without great chemistry. and this applies to all characters, not just the main leads
- 12 episodes only. with shorter episodes, they speed up the pace and make every misunderstanding solved quickly. I love them for that.
- clichés but with a modern twist. if this drama is released in the 2010 decade, they will make the FL too innocent and weak, the ML too domineering and a jerk but later change for the FL, an unnecessary love triangle (or square), toxic family, or dark past &traumas. but here, the FL is smart and stands for herself, the ML is cold but still treats everyone well and really good at work (CEO not just a character background), the second couple has their own storyline, and loving grandpa who wishes everything but the best for his grandsons.
- the production team is giving their best and sincere with their work. One episode feels full, with no unnecessary scene, and even for the imagination scene, they give it all out. Like flashbacks of Hari's one-sided love, there are lots of scenes and situations there. If these are other dramas, they will only shoot one scene to show FL's one-sided love. But here, I think they show 4-5 occasion where Minwoo only focus on her GF and not Hari. Hari's imagination with their fake first meeting, attending the foundation event as Geumhee and Hari too... Plus the hilarious Taemu's imagination of Hari in new york LOLOL Hyoseop nailed it btw. Every Hyoseop slander is unacceptable and just a pure hate now

I hope they will continue to serve great episodes. I believe them. I'm happy thanks to them, so I wish them all the success for making such a great project!

If you remember some of the reason hari stated why he doesnt want to marry him in the earlier episode to scare him away (along with the iconic archaeopteryx), she clearly stated that she disliked his tone and way of speech like a saeguk. So I’ll say it is intentional
