and finally this season ends. I'm honestly so tired of all the fanwars between Hyoseop's previous and current female leads' fandom and also between s1 and s2 supporters. It actually quite ruined my experience with this season. I just want to watch the drama peacefully and read everyone's reaction or thoughts calmly so I could gain more perspective through discussions but people keep voicing their opinion too harshly which made the others become defensive too. I don't think I could afford to watch the fourth season... But let's see in several years... I still love them all though...
I am soo amazed that even the most minor role is willing to return to reprise their roles like Prof. Shim, Soonyoung's mom (the brain-death paramedic in S2), Paramedics Heo, Eunjae's mom, Dr. Jung (the anesthesiologist from Jungil Hospital iirc), even Jang Hyeonju... It really helps me focus on the story and makes me realize how big Dr. Romantic universe is.
Now talking about the Doldamz. I applaud Kim Minjae and So Juyeon because they're willing to come back as a "sub" despite they are already the main characters in other dramas. I'm very grateful for Ahn Hyoseop and Lee Sungkyung because they literally work nonstop right after finishing their other dramas (Hyoseop even shoot 2 dramas simultaneously) just because they want to join this season. I'm touched by Yoo Yeonseok too because he is willing to return as Kang Dongju. They also keep including Yoon Seojung in the conversation, not forgetting her in any way (maybe Seo Hyunjin is busy? I don't think the production team is not reaching out to her at all when they could bring Yoo Yeonseok and also Yang Sejong in the previous season). I'm also glad like Dr. Jung, Dr. Nam, Nurse Oh, Prof Park, Dr. Bone, Dr. Yang, Nurse Joo, Nurse Uhm, Mr. Goo, Chief Lee, Mr. Heo, or basically everyone in Season 2 are back in their role in Season 3. I don't think it's easy to match everyone's schedule and I believe it's purely because they love the Dr. Romantic series so much :")
The newcomers are really great!! Lee Shinyoung and Lee Hongnae brings their own color and makes me immersed with their character and their own story. Good job for both of them!
And of course, the great Han Sukkyu... The center of everything. I'm very grateful that I met him in this series. What a great character and he nailed it every time. This season is the most flavorful of him because we see him breaking down but also smiling so proudly looking at the complete picture of his dream and I enjoyed it so much! Big love to Kim Sabu <3

I think Kim Sabu treats his students perfectly customized to each of his students. Do you think Cha Eunjae never gets scolded by Kim Sabu? No. He even tells Cha Eunjae to quit being a doctor. But he knows that Eunjae needs encouragement and words of affirmation as she has low confidence and even her trauma relapsed in Ep 5-6 iirc. Kim Sabu knows what Eunjae needs is not hard scolding. And Eunjae is not completely wrong too, so he treats her gently. Why Seo Woojin need scolding tho? When he is the most well-behaved, righteous, selfless, and open-minded doctor out of all Doldams main characters. If you watched S2, you would understand why Woojin sees Kim Sabu as his savior and wanted to follow his step, because Kim Sabu literally saves his life, give him chances, and let him grow. You could see Kim Sabu is a little biased and cares about Woojin more than his other pupils. Even to Kang Dongju in ep 14, Kim Sabu asks Dongju calmly about being a boss or a leader, not scolding him like S1 because it isn't necessary for him to get angry. Because Dongju now is someone who could converse with and need a lil bit of guidance, not to be humbled like in S1.
And by the way if people who watched S3 not from ep 13 only, you would know that the "S1 Kim Sabu" is still there when he lectured Jang Donghwa. I personally think his scolding is so much harsher to Donghwa than to S1 students. And when Donghwa became better, Kim Sabu also acts kinder even putting on a blanket while he sleeping and heard the iconic "don't smile or i might like you" from Kim Sabu.

Even though it's true according to you, well, this is season 3. Please appreciate S2 too. If not because of S2, there will be no S3. They're making questionable decisions, well yes it is for plot devices, but as Kim Sabu said to Cha Eunjae in ep14, let's wonder WHY they made that decision.
