I should get over this and move on to different drama and to the reality. I told this to myself multiple times already but I am stuck watching youtube clips about The Red Sleeve since the finale.

It was the drama that I watched with my family and my mom cried a river and for the first time, saw my dad shedding tears watching something. This kdrama not only was the best drama of 2021 but also the drama that helped me discover more about my parents' emotions

Easily the best kdrama of 2021. I hope there are more dramas like The Red Sleeve on 2022.

I don't know to what extend court lady could push and pull king's heart back in Joseon Dynasty.
But at the same time, from my research, I found Uibin Seong (deok im) really did not want to become Jeongjo's concubine due to several reasons. However, the way it was portrayed in the drama may upset a lot of fans but I think that portrait is what makes this drama distinctive to other Yisan related dramas

I had no idea what to do until the next episode comes out so I started learning about Korean history to get familiar with the historical background of this drama. I love history so much that I have a minor in history for my undergrad but quite shocked Korean history is not taught at all. If it was taught at the university, getting a seat for that class would be a war. Anyways, after my research on Korean history, I understood why so many sageuks are based on Joseon dynasty. It definitely had lots of dramas happening for 500 years.

Although this drama is fiction with real history, I love how they don't change the historical fact that deok im rejects Yi San. To be honest, if it was kings other than Yi San, it is very likely that Deok Im would have been dead long time ago.

Episode 12 made me tear up so much, I can’t even lie like the grandfather is such a great actor. Not even with…
Ikr, everytime I see him acting, I have nothing to say but magnificent. He is such a great actor and the way he presents his characters sometimes gives me goosebumps.

Jang Hee-jin in her Queen Dowager hanbok 😍https://www.instagram.com/p/CXc893-qypR/
Hanbok is really pretty!! It could be my bias but I think female hanbok looks way more elegant and beautiful, compared to male version of it. Tbf I am saving up so I can ask my friend in Korea to send me a piece of modern hanbok that I can wear for my next birthday!

I am not a big fan of romance drama but I noticed main casts are from my favorite movie, 'The Witch', so I gave it a try. Man, I could reminisce my high school days watching this and wonder what if I would be the same if I met the one I had similar feelings back then. Some Kdramas definitely move my heart.

This drama should be on Netflix so more people around the world get to appreciate this great masterpiece!!!
On Now, We Are Breaking Up Dec 5, 2021
Just gonna say how this is the most realistic romantic drama released. It portrays the adults, who are too matured to fall in love just because of feelings. I never thought kdrama could be this serious but it did an excellent job in portraying the reality.

Title Happiness
When I was a child, I really enjoyed Hollywood zombie apocalypse movies and stuff, and maybe it is because of flashy action scenes and erstwhile the best CGI. But as I grew up, I realize how Korean movies and dramas are taking over that spot and I definitely recommend this to my group of friends, who love this kinda stuff (in fact, they all loved Kingdom and blamed me for not watching it on premiere)

In the recent years, I noticed how Korean sageuks are the right mix of fantasy and history (of course the romance is always there) but this one hits different. I was watching this on my TV and my mom, who always sits on HBO, got super into this show and now she asks if more of such shows are available. Guess, like everyone in this forum, I can call myself a cultural ambassador of Korea lol
