here is what i would have actually structured the show:

the very first stage should have granted the winners immunity from elimination in the next round. meaning (Minjun, Renan, Kasper, Bada, and Babyzoo would be safe) and from the five that are not safe from elimination (Hash, Simeez, Kooyoung, Ingyoo, and Nain) they would create a title film sequence for the members.. and each of them will direct the members and shoot a video... the top two directors will also be safe from elimination and the bottom three will be sent to the 24hr elimination round.. in which only 1 of the three will survive and move on the the next round.

for the second mission: Kpop Directing mission.. we have the artist pick between the two teams.. whichever team the artist felt more connected to and truly helped them shine as an artist in their own way. the teams that were selected will be safe from elimination while the other teams would go straight to the elimination round.. in which 1 member will be eliminated.

for the third mission... i actually like the way it was structured but instead of it being 4 people going to the elimination stage.. it should have only been 3.. in which only 1 would survive and be brought back for the next mission.

i feel like this would have been 100% more fair than whatever it is that they did.

i don't know what i expected seeing as its MNET that made the survival show! but the favoritism is just insane.

anyways.. its my time to go!! the only actual director got eliminated so its my time to head out!! I hope the very best for remaining "directors"

exactly, like even if they compromise, at least let her hold her values until she feels comfortable and nothing forced or rushed either.

based on the idea that minjun had.. he would have been great going with the other 3.. but the fact that his directing was still recognized as the best within the 4 is still a great achievement

We've seen too many shows in which the open-minded person's values are more respected and kept but not much in which the conservative side wins.. so i feel like it would be refreshing to see.

i actually like this episode, first place deserved first place and that team completely deserved all the highest ranking.. Min jun lets go

Based on episode 7's preview.. Minjun made it!! thank goodness, but Nain was unfortunately eliminated!! which sucks because i liked her work

before truly getting into the kpop dancing scene... the only person i could confidently name was Bada and simeez. i came into this show only knowing Bada, ingyoo, kooyoung and simeez.. the rest were completetly new names to me.

but i found myself staying for the people i had no clue about: Min-jun, Renan, and kasper

I understand your point, but at the same time i don't agree. No one is mad about the popularity of certain individuals. what makes no sense is MNET basing the judging on fans who will obviously pick their faves regardless of which performance was actually better.

I believe that most of the decision should have been up to the Artist getting directed.. like who did they enjoy working with more, who truly brought out their artistry.. and who listened to their ideas and truly understood their color.

coming from a neutral standpoint as well (i'm also a dancer) you can deffo see the favoritism especially to kooyoung and Bada which kind of hurts to say because ii love Kooyoung.. he was the main choreographer for my girls Kep1er and i've been tight with him since GP999 and i loved Bada from street woman fighter.. but just because i like them doesn't mean i didn't notice the very obvious favoritism.

The only thing that seems fair in the entire show is the judging of the 24Hr last stage directing. the judges are actually pretty fair, and also the judges for the very first mission (which mind you meant absolutely nothing.... it gave the winners no benefits, no points and nothing else whatsoever.)

the popularity is not the issue, the way MNET is structuring the show within itself just screams that they already have the people that they want to win and they must do everything within their might to make it happen. from the screen time, the editing, the challenges.. everything.

And also this is a survival show but this won't determine wether they are successful or not, it won't determine their chance at debuting.. so the public voting truly doesn't matter.. we should the let the work of the directors speak for themselves towards the judges NOT the audience

Hash wasn't shown properly and so was minjun.. all his parts involved other people in it and not to mention his face wasn't ever visible in his solo shots... the lighting was so dark that i couldn't even try to look for him... and not to mention he was off to the side the entire time.. the people who got "Noticed" are the same people placed in the center position during the choruses.

if it were me.. i would have picked Kasper (although given the opportunity.. he didn't shine as much), Reina (same as kasper.. her parts felt bland) and Ingyoo (his face wasn't really memorable.. only the choreography and anyone could have pulled that lowkey)

for me.. what i don't understand is why the public's votes counted more.. why didn't they just let the artists themselves pick who directed better and who it is spoke to their artistry better... its because MNET knew that the teams they like won't get chosen.

not to mention the public voting was highly biased because how did bada x kooyoung get over 200 points but Nain x Babyzoo only got around 70

this episode just proved to me that this is a popularity contest NOT a directing contest.. because how did Bada and Baek win... shouldn't the scoring ultimately come down to the people being directed and not random fans/ dancers in the audience??
