I think this was filmed way before any of his other dramas that aired this year. It took a while to pass review. It’s been on my watch list for like 2 yrs.

I think it’s a subplot to drive home that love is not to possess. Which is echoed in the aunt’s story, the ML parent’s story, the over arching theme of the show.

Don’t mind the complaints about the ending. The series is really worth it.
