He doesn’t actually have low EQ. I don’t think the cold hearted description fits the character. He just isn’t overly naive and all sunshine like the FL character is suppose to be.

I don’t think we have enough info in the end scenes to say that he is a mortal. If he was how would he remember her? Plus there was the scene where she commented on the god or war stars.
