I am loving the drama so far. If you are impatient with dramas, this may be one you wait until you can binge, I think that serves the story telling better. I like slow burn in dramas as much as the fast pace ones. This drama is not your modern day fast pace rom com.

yeah, but I still feel like it holds it’s own. The FL are not waiting around or only there to serve as romantic counterparts. The ML had flaws and a character arch that is believable.
Also, regardless of my feelings for this entire drama, where is my OST sung by PHS?! There better be one because…
I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for that too. He posted a pic of himself in a recording studio shortly after this work was announced (on his fanpage ) and I’ve been anticipating it for so long. I hope it was for this.

It’s seems to be the ppl who don’t usually watch historical drama getting impatient with the plot and not getting romance. There was some filler episodes, but it’s getting exciting!
Half way through and I’m calling the following things: 1. Tae Kang is from that village, the time the Prince found him on the street coincide with the overthrowing of the village. 2. The Queen had a relationship with the Song bandit, whether the young prince is their lovely child or not is sus. The uncle probably made up the whole uprising so he can get rid of her lover and send her to the palace so he can gain power. 3. The Queen is evil, she is just laying low so the uncle can do the dirty work until she doesn’t need him anymore.
I honestly don't know how to feel about the ML being jealous for the FL's attentions and possessive as it is not…
I don’t think he has done anything to indicate he is entitled to her time and attention. He is just jealous and competitive. It was a sport competition after all.
I think the production of the drama, as in the way it was piece together is causing the pacing issue for everyone. I love the acting so far and I love the storyline. I don’t think the order of the scenes and transition is done well enough to pull in and keep the viewer. Still going to finish it though bc it has all the potential.

@Gui I totally get what you are saying. People’s taste change as they go through life and mature. Growth in mindset isn’t delusional. He is not the skinnier built he used to be but that doesn’t mean he is unhealthy or unfit.
I don’t think the 1 st episode had enough to judge, just enough to keep me watching. What did ya’ll watch to be saying the leads have chemistry? They haven’t even had 1 scene together.
