PPL really didn't see that coming cause ML was pretty.in novel he was not typical ML who's top scorer in high school he was always fighting not taking studies seriously very cold and agressive to everyone but one incident changed his life ,he loses control of the car and hit a stranger. out of guilt he take care of the stranger for 2 months and they become best friend (his best friend in drama) they didn't show how much impact his best friend has on ML on drama (probably show in future episode. for example reason he become better person was his best friend even though accident was completely ML fault ML BF didn't blame him rather his paid the hospital bills was very kind to everyone he was the opposite of ML which inspired ML to become better person.ML bf also adviced him to drop his agressive violent nature. ML take his advice and started to take studies seriously,obey his parents eventually become the person he is in present .i think because of censorship they changed his rebellious gangster part of his past.in the novel his best friend leg broken because of accident (driver was ML).

Her life was horrible form the start parents were arguing about divorce and always fighting once she heard them saying I don't want her by mother I don't want either by father then mother set on fire on the house and ended up killing herself and husband.this pretty much summ up why she feel filial guilty towards her current parents

U missed the details in drama when she used spike she really wanted to kill him at that time she gave up on him because misunderstanding between them yebitcheng poisoned porridge which led TTJ to think that YXW wanted to kill him and runaway with Xilong which eventually led him to kill Xilong with YXW own hand.at that time in her mind she thought he was pretending all this time TTJ killed grandma that's what Xilong implyed when he told her about grandma death so YXW gaveup TTJ at that moment thinking she can never change his nature I'm going to end this.she only realised that real imposter here is YBC after she told YXW she poisoned porridge that's why at that time YXW so devastated because inTTJ pov she try to kill after knowing all of his past YXW realised all this time he torturd Her because that reason not because she try to kill him in wedding night so she did love him that's why she sacrificed herself and saved him she only come to know about devine essense sacrifice because that time God told her not because she known it from the beginning she did wanted to tell him about her real purpose but it was interrupted by someone I don't remember who which means if she told her about her plan they would've found a way to save him I think u missed the details because fast pace/rush episodes can't blame though I write this essay so u can understand that she did wanted to save him. saving World was not only the reason it was unexpected for her to fall in love with someone who killed her whole family and realm so it's understandable why she expect worst from him and don't want to gamble whole world for selfish desire love and its first time in her life she feeling humen feelings love,hate, guilty etc she is denying her love for him is understandable considering its her first feeling and she is fallen in love with future Hitler who killed her own family ruthlessly
