The rationale behind what powers she can and can not use is just getting skewed by every passing episode. She doesn't have enough power to perform "clean kills", no powers to determine if someone is actually guilty, but oh wow; she can blast away CCTVs at a glancee. Go Girl! Idiot also goes around professiong "I'm a demon" when she's so visibly weak "holy" stuff. Gets flashed by a cross pendent just 10 minutes later lol. It's going to het used against her later at a critical point.
no she thought she heard them leaving and opens the door
I also don't fully understand the guy's motivation for relentlessly trying to assault her, even after she did what he wanted in trying to keep him out of prison. He got away with assault, and his first thought was the go back again and do the same thing? And then again for the third time? Why? Were the authors just trying to make us hate him so the revenge parts are they much more satisfying? If so, I don't like it. As for not having police protection, I feel like it's a moot point. Just like having him serve one year would not change things much. He'd seek revenge after getting out. So if he wanted to "get her" he'd just be waiting. Police can't guard her forever.
They are clearly willing to bend the definition of "murder" starting from their first case though.
Emotional murder I guess. They are implying that she's suffered so much, and is already as good as dead. She has attempted to commit sucide she's truly dead inside. That, though, could be used to justify some other crimes as well, like sexual assaults. While I'm a bit hesitant to consider all these crimes akin to murder, and it depends on case by case basis, It'd be interesting to see in what direction they decide to take it.
i mean she was demoted which also gets rid of a lot of her powers. She still gets to punish people but has to…
Okay entertainment value wise, yeah punishing makes it much more enjoyable. But it could have worked out either way I think. She'd save the innocent since she have to, and being a demon she then might as well punish the people actually behind the crimes as well. The punishment of killing sinners makes sense since she is from hell, yes but she supposed to be a judge too. Judging based on incomplete facts put her into this mess. The solution is to not throw her in blind and expect her to judge fairly. As for the cleanup crew, I still don't get it. Why are they in the modern world in the first place. Is demons killing people such a regular occurrence that they have an entire clean-up crew on earth? or was the crew sent to help bitna with her killing, in which case, they could have just allowed her to retain some of her powers.
"These people deserve a massacre"
