I skipped 11-13, then 20-25, 27 (i just watched review and zapped) I use to skip in all dramas) , I like more "The Imperial Coroner" where all characters play equally - this one is more focus on GBZ I feel. But overall I like GBZ, Lord Chu and WYJ the most in this movie. I also like Shen Fei and Bai Lang. WSY, BLY are like support in the story. Huang Xuan is really a good actor, overall, all actors, actresses are really good. They played so well in their respected characters.

Nobody died. Happy end story, only it was a long story before reaching out to an happy ending like in any Asian dramas. I liked it because of power struggle between brothers.

All watched (but i skipped some episodes). It was not a bad story at all. Finally only WYJ was a veritable villain., Lord Chu wasn't.

I think it is a similar TV series like The Promise of Chang’an but for me much better one. I think The Promise of Chang’an copied the story line of The Legend of Jasmine. Perso I did not watch The Promise of Chang’an dropped at 2nd ep.

Please watch in iq.com. The video quality is not vary good, but enjoyable and the story line is really good i like it more than actual series. The actors are really good. Not Wang Yibo but much better than him. It is also similar to so many stories of Asia's monarch period, similar to The Far Pavilion by M. M. Kaye.

The same for me, from the very beginning I suspect Wu Youjie and Master Chu, there are some moments i doubt on Master Chu but after giving some thoughts they both are still suspects. After all, dethroning an Empress does not always mean betraying the nation and people .. and i always having gut feeling since beginning, there wont be any chance at all for Wu Si Yue and GBZ seeing the circumstances. BGZ's priority is not Wu Si Yue at all. The rest is simply injected to animate the story including BHY/LR couple. Having an genius of something at that time is not bad after all, isn't it?

for me Huang Xuan and Liu Duan Duan (Prince Dong Chuan) are really good actors. Liu Duan Duan played really well also his role in Joy of Life. I wonder here if he plays again villain role. For WYB it is just so so, the main characters that made the whole movie are main hero and main villains.

feel that it would end finally by separation : disinterest by other party caused and produced character clash between the couple. Or one of them died /killed in a scenario. And the focus of the movie is not a love story, adding that Liu's beloved uncle killed her husband father ==> all of these events lead to the divorce/separation of a couple which is natural i think. In the real life, nobody can endure the ignorance of other party for long time.

Huang Xuan is really a good actor, In several series such as Snipper, Minning town, Tribes and empires, He played so well.

Well She is simply playing her role. I would also like to see some drama series where women are discrete, capable, reserved and silent and do not need to show up and be noisy to be recognized. And even if they are not recognized by others , they do not fall into despair, depression and hate ... because in the reality of life, women are very capable , manage everything from the behind.
