I just finished watching the episode With my 18-year-old niece. In the beginning when Vegas was villainous, she was so angry with him and could not believe that he could be redeemed at all. I told her wait and you will see, at the end you will cry and root for him and she laughed. She did cry and is rooting for him.
I didn't like the ending that much. I feel like Kinn and Porsche got boring. I was very much rooting for Vegas…
I would not say KP got boring… there were scenes about their new status and responsibilities that were needed. And of course the falling in love part is always hotter to depict than the we know we love each other part. I loved the cheeky scene on the couch… I would have been even happier had they taken than a bit further, shown what they implied followed (hot sex). They could be saving it for a special episode? 🤷♀️
In general, it was a nice one, I liked it and it was different, I binge watched it. I did struggle a bit about…

Porsche was processing a lot during that time: His feelings (and likely arousal thinking about) about the night before , how they behaved toward each other the next day, and his anger and confusion about the punishment. I don’t think the Vegas assault came into it at all. He was probably also processing how he got there with Kinn…I think he was aware of the mutual attraction before that night and before even the kiss. I mean he was practically flirting with Kinn during the wound on the arm scene, saying he wanted to make Kinn regret giving him up to Tankhun. Of course that night was a watershed moment, an acknowledgment of the attraction and of liking a man enough to have sex with him.

I was thinking about how to keep enjoying the series and the community here…some thoughts: 1. Watch the whole series with a different person each time and post their reaction. I tied it with my husband, he gave up half way episode 7 (can’t fault him for not getting too into the gay stuff 🤷♀️). Watched the first 2 episodes with my 18-year old niece… she is a Harry Styles fan… I thought there was a good chance she would like KP and she does. Apo is her bias so far. 2. Start a thread where people post their ideas for season 2. This could probably keep us going until season 2! ☺️ 3. Start a thread discussing what other BL shows we are watching and how they (don’t) measure up to KP.
I will be travelling during the live show, so I will get a rerun ticket too.
