Cherry blossoms after winter is a "nice" drama. But for me, it did not go beyond that. The bl drama sort of lacks depth and personality. And I felt the pacing is also very different in each episode. It was a bit rushed with respect to the storyline and did not show the character and relationship development that Haebom and Taesung had as in the webtoon. Without reading the webtoon first, I wouldn't have been able to connect the dots and fill in the gaps. (But I also understand the limits of its production and stuff)
I don't know if it's only me but it would have been better if two episodes were released per week because many of the viewers KNOW what's gonna happen and it only makes the show drag on. The actors have good (meh) chemistry but somehow it doesn't appeal to me the way it should. Some arcs like the mom finding out or even Haebom getting bullied are not dynamic or intense (like AT ALL). All in all there are several areas that could've been improved. I'm only staying for the fluff and the cuteness. Peace.✌️✌️
