yes that scene was maybe not the best option. Like how would he remember what his father told him when he was still an unborn baby????? it would've been better to choose another memory from his early years as a kid but I guess they really wanted to bring the father's importance once again as KangHo did everything having his dad in mind.

They say friends are the family we choose and that seems valid to me. They're people that understand you and comfort you so ofc they'll feel like a family at som point. Don't feel bad about your family though. I've ad the same thoughts some years back and I still think so. We're different generations so ofc there will be a lot of differences between us but I think it's because they know no better. They've been through some hardships that have made our parents what they are today. Not all of them will be great. Just learn your lessons about people and forgive them. That's what I did and I've been at peace with myself for a long time now. <3

Hmmm.. that's some pov you have. What I think is that he knew what he would be getting into, as in getting himself involved with bad people that could easily use MiJoo or his mom to threaten him. So he really had to cut ties with them and we all saw it wasn't an easy decision for him to make. I get your point, his revenge was above everything else and he hurt other people in the way but that's a young man we're talking about whose father was killed, whose mother mentally pressured him to do everything she ever wanted and whose life was practically destroyed already by being a puppet so he wanted to bring justice to his dad, mom and himself. He wanted to find the people that did this to his family and give them what they deserved or worse.

naah I don;t think that's something we should fear. He'll definitely continue his career but change and stop protecting the bad guys. The prosecutor and chairman will be in jail so there will be no bad guys to cover.

I would recommend Reply 1988. It's funny, realistic, doesn't get boring, teaches you a few things about South Korea in 1988. The cast is so so good and it's full of life lessons and the scenarios feel so real and close and relatable to us. I loved it.
