It seems I’m not the only one confused why this drama got really low rating here despite the good story and production quality. I think users on MDL don’t rate on quality but on how much it fits their idea of ideal relationship.

Not much a BL fan here but I like it and think it got hyped because of novel and different style of story telling in romance (2 narrators, unreliable narration) and great cinematography (heard a lot from Japanese viewers) not because how realistic they are. Personally can’t compare how realistic they are to real life gay couple because I’m not a man and never dated a man, only women.

Don’t worry you are not alone who dislike it, a lot of people came here to say they are the only one who don’t like this. This was the most hated BL at the end of 2021 lol I like it but I have to admit what I saw from reactions from every social medias since Episode one.

I guess if you’re into massive doses of flawed characters being written and opened layer by layer and good cinematography, this is for you. “ They are toxic “ is repeated a lot in the comments. Yes, they might be, but it’s still 4 episodes of interested characters being explored and beautiful production, sorry.
