I've red the novel and is currently caught up with the anime so far and I like the changes that they've made with the drama, not everything is going to be an exact or the same carbon copy of each other when it comes to adaptations lol.

those 2 are not good, I am sorry for the fans of those dramas, both of them did decently well tho in terms of ratings and viewerships. xu kai for some reason, his drama's just don't flop lol, anyways both did good in ratings but critic wise, both are not favorably received and there's lots of negative opinions towards both dramas.
