i mean, it's watchable... cheng yi and yang zi did good in their own scenes but I don't feel their chemistry when they are both together... must be because they are separated most of the time and if they are together for once they have misunderstandings all the time they cross each others path... the storyline hindered their chemistry imo.

I can understand your own opinion since that's what I also felt, but it also have something to do with the series having poor scriptwriting, actors/actresses will not be able to deliver and act certain parts well if the script is just deliberately bad or mediocre at best.

just noticed a trend and c-dramas seems to be gaining more traction lately in the us. We celebrating ya'll. Hoping that this opens more opportunity for c-dramas to be more known in the west and received more critical acclaims and widespread influx of genre popularity worldwide just like k-dramas are getting recently.

she have a really strong start with her acting career with both meteor garden and lsb being both hits, now her dramas are now mostly underrated (when she's been showing tons of improvements with her acting), hoping that mr.bad becomes popular and is a certified hit.
