More and more we see the control China has over its innocent citizens, entertainers, etc. And it's affecting the drama scene so much that Directors are afraid of censorship or total shut down. smh
Very confusing since this was called ""Ink Rain and Cloud". ??? Only by matching up the different actors in the article I found was I able to ascertain that it's been renamed. But no matter, now I've found it and can't wait to see this. I love that the FL is over 10 years older than the ML. Looking at her you would think she was the same age as him. She's a beauty and he is a hunk. ha
First off; I love how those two can kiss. Dylan Wang is such a great kisser and he gets great FLs who know how to kiss back. At first, I didn't want to watch this drama cuz I couldn't see him kissing someone else (thinking of Esther Yue). But pretty soon I put that aside and started enjoying the chemistry and the cuteness of them both and then I went even further and actually enjoyed the kissing between the two. They are a really good kissing couple. Hey Dylan Wang, don't get a girlfriend any time soon cuz you have more romantic dramas to do in your 20s, with lots more Female leads. lol Do I rate this very high? Nope. Despite the two actors, this was a fluff piece and even not very good direction at times. Unfortunately, I have to give it a 6 and that's being generous. Ironically, I was watching "Story of Kunning Palace" at the same time as this and Bai Lu was great in it and along with her co-star, created a 2023 power drama. So, I rated it at a 9 because of so many factors. And of course, seeing DD in LBFD put him over the top with me. I just hope he goes on to make even better dramas and continues to improve his acting. Bai Lu has already proven herself, so I know she won't fail at finding better roles. As for the Support team, I did like them and their quest for love. Was it same-o, same-o? Yes, too many dramas mimic each other, and it gets so overdone. But if you don't want to get bogged down in a heavy-duty, thinking type drama, then this is cute enough to capture your attention, not to mention the chemistry between the two and Bai Lu's famous faces and expressions are a crackup. The skittering away from DD all the time, became "rolling my eyes" ridiculous. FINAL: Watch at your own discretion and make your own assessment. Good or bad, watching the chemistry between Bai Lu and Dylan Wang ain't all bad. AND having Charlie Zhou Shen on the soundtrack is a huge plus.
Some dramas are just now hitting their opening premieres and yet they wrapped like 2 or 3 years ago. I don't know why it takes some so long but hopefully XZL will have BETTER dramas that are not so predictable. He needs to grow up and out of these Rom-Coms with his redundant stern CEO character. sigh.... otherwise I really adore this kid.

One thing I noticed about the tape, he never said "We are broken up and I found someone else", no he cried brokenly and apologized profusely. Does that sound like a cheater? To me, yes. An innocent person wouldn't have reacted like he did. And yes, his excuse of keeping their relationship quiet, to her, was due to the company rules. smh And the total embarrassment to the FL on this drama? I would be shocked if they still released this to the public. He probably caused some sponsors to pull their support of this as well. All I know is, people don't look at things in the real world.... they are stuck on the actor and how much they love him and how he is soooo innocent. It's sad really. I hope he learned his lesson from being called out on this. He deserved it. And I really liked him til this.

I don't know where she said that, but I guess it went out to the public. BTW, I'm just reporting what was on social media and put out there by different Entertainment Youtubers. As far as this drama still being on the Drama List, so was Dramas that Deng Lun had already done when he was busted for tax evasion and his accounts were suspended.
