at least when they reached the parts of the manga where the Japanese drama didn't adapt since it was still serialising…
this has to be one of the most divisive adaptations in years as a manga reader, I'm enjoying this different take on the story and characters but I can also see why some don't
ngl I wish they would stop adapting foreign media for my sanity
Like I enjoy this personally but the overall fandom engagement is such a headache lmao
at least when they reached the parts of the manga where the Japanese drama didn't adapt since it was still serialising ppl would stop comparing
or ppl would pretend the original manga doesn't exist and went "GMMTV is just making shit up" which they already did by calling the JP drama the original *shrugs*
"in the real story there were no any kiss scenes" Lies.
Why do ppl always ignore or forget the manga has kisses; 3 kisses and 1 cheek kiss to be exact
the Japanese live action adaptation only covered till vol. 4-5 // didn't reach the point where they first kissed (sports day)
Why are ppl blind to "~~ Adapted from the manga "My Love Mix-Up!" (ζΆγγεζ) written by Hinekure Wataru (γ²γγγζΈ‘) and illustrated by Aruko (γ’γ«γ³)" in the synopsis
you don't have to read the manga but can ppl not spread misinformation when they don't know shit π€¦ and this adaptation is covering ALL 9 MANGA VOLUMES
Cherry Magic is another example where the manga has kisses and explicit scenes not present in the JP drama
but drama-only fans always ignore the source material and use the first adaptation they watched as their only frame of reference and proceed to act like know-it-all
My Love Mix-Up! manga is absolutely wonderful and remains the best version of the story, y'all are missing out
