I’m used that usually love interests for second leads set up early but I still don’t understand who it might be and a bit worried they would find random strangers for them 5 minutes before episode 12 end. I understand it might be harder to do for Do Han but it should have been an easy set up for YCW

I assume they don’t care much about reputation because they plan to go to USA soon after marriage. But I had to come up with this because writers didn’t explain this to us yet(hopefully)

I like NAJ character overall but why stay for an unwanted blind date if you need to be with LDH at specific time to register a marriage?!! I don’t get the motivation of free food and drinks. girl, you were never late to a filming set and now you completely abandon your friend?

I have numerous complaints:
1. preview of episode 13 - ex fiancé ordering Min Hwan to kill KJW is a definition of “play stupid games - win stupid prizes”, because he is useless and stupid in a drama
2. they put so much into 12 episode that it’s really hard to watch, and preview of 13 episode tells me it would be even harder
3. KJW miss smarty pants with her mother but can’t connect “I’m his ex-fiancé” and “I ended everything” in her head, put some trust and work in this relationship and finally be at ease at least with a man.
4. wtf with this bold dude plotting something and why future of the meal kit is so seemingly unimportant compared to everything else? again, drop your personal relationship and ask YJH to look into this, it’s his company shares at stake after all
5. I saw a theory that Assistant Lee is also traveled back in time and I really hope they want spent a big part of the episode introducing us to a new plot line right before the finale
6. I knew something was fishy when I first saw a kopiko ad 🙃

Drama is pure entertainment, I can’t take the plot seriously and how would you after rich son becomes a detective just because x) I have a sweet spot for detectives since I was watching them all childhood with my father - this one have this action detective from 90s vibe. It’s good sometimes just enjoy the show and don’t overthink it. If I don’t understand why something is happening I always have magical “because writer said so” and continue watching :)

Still, this much fading to black with music stop for a second or two is a crimial offense x)

I understand what authors want to do with FL character development arc but I hoped something better for a detective woman and she is a team leader, didn’t she has to be super smart and super hardworking to achieve this? I thought she would be super smart and milk any benefit she can get from a silver spoon cop, he has almost endless resources and almost untouchable so why harass him? This is not how to wright a strong female character, but let’s see, so far I enjoyed first two episodes anyway x)

first episode fun, the ✨plot✨ is serving with those torso scenes, only question is what is wrong with this fading to black between scenes? also, so far looks like a kopiko ad nominee, but I hope it’s not

But I have some questions too:
1. Female lead was a bit smarter in webtoon and a lot of things was planned by her and didn’t happened almost accidentally like in a drama
2. What happened to an assistant Lee?! Why he is like this in a drama?
3. Ji Won was more present in Yang Ju Ran’s live and I really liked that part, also where is their trust went?
4. Still waiting to a cat’s POV :D
5. Hope drama writers will give more to Yu Hee Yong and Bae Eun Ho relationships because in webtoon it was a bit dissatisfying for my liking, especially long distance part and a proposal with watches(?)

Even tho I’ve read webtoon from start to finish after watching 1 episode and was a bit suspicious when I’ve noticed major changes to webtoon still I like this drama, my points are:
1. There are a lot of scenes interestingly shot, big respect to the director and director of photography
2. PMY is so beautiful in scenes when she is happy
3. drama writers managed to give more personality to male lead
4. Webtoon’s plot was ridiculous sometimes so I see how sometimes drama writers smooth corners

I’ll defend San Do character a bit because I really like how hi is written (except for the part that he likes Sam Dal for all those 18 years when she lives in Seoul, but I 🙈).
I don’t think you can control who you like or do not like so it’s ok for him to like Sam Dal. He is well written because I can feel his pain when he really can’t share his feelings with friends because it’s not cool, everyone thinks that Sam Dal and Young Pil are match made in heaven and it’s getting on his nerves because no one sees him as a good match, but again - he can’t tell about this anyone. He even realizes that he is no match for Young Pil when he sees them taking photos and again - he can do nothing about this. I really like to see his character arc going through this moment when he will give up and finally will focus on other things. and I really hope they give him a love interest because those red eyes of self pity… the actor is goood

Webtoon has extra chapter with team comments and they said that they wanted to give Yoo Ji Hyuk strong t-zone and I think that Lee Soo Hyuk would be perfect because he has strong features and I would like to see him not as grumpy villain :) also, Na In Woo’s features are too soft for my liking.
Also hope that for Assistant Lee it’s an error in casting list because the actor is MUCH older than actress for Yang Ju Ran and it’s a bit confusing

if authors of the drama adaptation will cut out cat’s POV it’s a 1 star rating from me 😂

sometimes im okay with mediocre dramas and sometimes im very picky, but so far welcome to samdalri hits very hard in the best way for me. it’s paced normally (it’s not slow, everyone just got used to 3 plot twists per serie), it clearly has more mature audience in mind, interesting topics, good cinematography and top-notch acting. I’m very glad no one has to tell loudly what they think/feel because I can understand emotions of all actors without words. also, it’s almost morning and I’m crying after last serie

I’m so offended by this drama plot >_< FL presented as self-made successfull woman but so far she didn’t do anything smart about whole situation, sometimes looks like FL and ML have 1 brain cell and have to share it like orange cats. also, I see so many editing fails like pants in a shower scene or obviously cut flower heads when they supposedly should have died naturally, etc. my fault, I should have know better since I saw kopiko PP - it always stupid and they don’t use heavy PP in more serious dramas x)

Anyway, I really liked her acting a lot and overall plot was interesting, I like how everything got wrapped up!

My head hurts with realization that if JDC was just obsessed with KDH it would be a bad trait and he would be seen as psycho, but if he loves him we immediately sympathize with JDC… but he still killed a girl and keep it a secret for years from KDH. I now understand why people love Ted Bundy - good scenario and good actor is all an audience needs.

However, praises for Yun Ji On - he is an amazing actor, his character is well written, he is a scene stealer, I’m really a fan now.

So, so far 6 episodes till the end and what do we have with so much plots open:
MSH - I’m not sure what character development is possible - she probably learned already that there are reasons behind lies and that’s it I suppose? Also would be nice to see what will happen with all those gold bars???
KDH - it’s not THAT genre so I expect double plot twist with “he’s the killer but not actually” and he will lie terribly to MSH and she would turn her back on him but they will be together in the end
LKM - he will be against KDH again but will find actual killer
Syaon - she’s one of a main cast but has less screen time than maniac brother, I suppose writer already forgot about her
JDC - I would really love to see him more - a lot is happening and he is obviously exhausted and no one really cares about him, but I think it’s possible that he forged the alibi footage and will be quite a bad guy.
KDH mom - probably will be a bad lady.
And then we have MSH mom-con artist plot, MSH dad is the woods plot, burger brother plot, bar owner and loud lady love life, tarot cafe bodyguard and finally dead ex-gf

When in the world they will try to fit everything in 6 episodes if I’m sure 11th episode will be solely about making audience believe that KDH is a murderer?
