what do you mean? they said they have been dealing with the epidemic for 3-4 months towards the end of the show, so the kids back at the school ate nothing for 4 months but a few bits of chocolate bar. I am not overthinking, I am just confused.
I'm really tired about bullying in K-Dramas lately, as someone who has been bullied for a long time now it's making…
bullying is really bad in south Korea, that's why it's such a common thing in kdrama. but let me tell you it's so satisfying to watch, cause the bad guys get what they deserve.
omg, I was soooo hesitant about this, but literally one of the fucking best decisions I made in my life was to click on that first episode and I was totally, CONPLETELY, ENTIRELY hooked on. are you kidding me, the ost was enough for me y'all, literally the BEST intro/ost ever. ironically this was so heart warming omg. I will never shut up about this till the day I die. recommend!!!!!! (arguably it was more enjoyable than squidgame, not saying squidgame was bad, it was an amazing critique)
I am baffled by all the attention given to the lawyer's foot fungus. It's gross and irrelevant to the plot. Perhaps…
I think the symbolic value of it was that it is something that sticks to you, or in other words something you can't free yourself from (he also said that himself), this idea is parallel to hyun soo's situation (can't free himself from the fractured, unjust criminal system)
It was too much for me, yet boring somehow, the camera work and acting was really good though, the potential was there in terms of story line but it doesn't keep you at the edge of your seat like mouse or move to heaven. I may watch s2, a solid 7 overall.
I loved this drama, and I love your review, it's just fucking flawless. the story made me think a lot, question a lot, just when you think you have an answer, something else is thrown at you, and you start debating with yourself. I agree with everything you said, but i wanted to emphasis that, we also learn about the nature of psychopaths, how every viewer like the characters in the drama were blinded and fooled with the mask that ba ruem wore. I was so in love with ba reum's character early on, I thought he was this kind, self-less, the most down to earth thing to ever exist, but boy i was wrong, this also shows how people in real life could potentiallly fall into a psychopath's trap, looks like i would have too. His character was almost like a warning to us, a lesson of how it is not ideal to judge someone on a surface level. it made my trust issues even worse. another thing I wanted to say is that, since episode 1, I was grinding my teeth whenever they said that to create an utopian world we must get rid of those that harbour the psychopath genes. I completely disagree with this, because it has been proven by science that not everyone who possess these sets of gene will turn out to be a psycho, or a killer. the essences of a person is dependent of nurture, not only nature. we see that through yo han possesses psychopath genes, but he is not a psychopath (clearly shown by his display of emotions), and certainly not a killer. if ba reum was raised in a better environment he may have not turned out to be a cold-blooded, delusional killer.
