I agree with you. I love that this bl is different in terms of plot and story line. It's not your typical university boys, or rich vs poor, etc. I want to say that I am not a professional and I am guessing non of us are, we can only hope that directors and the actor playing bai lang did research before playing him out, and portraying, what it is really like for someone to have had a traumatic childhood. but let's say for instance, it turns not that they played him completely wrong, that would be unfortunate, and misleading, but we could also look at like this: not a lot of dramas depict or talk about mental health, this one did, but they did it wrong, so in the future, maybe directors and actors will be more mindful and produce shows that portray authentic struggles of dealing with a mental illness, or even disorder in the bl industry. this will raise awareness.

I AGREE. I have a feeling MOST of thai bls I watched are like that, but idk japenese ones like kieta hatsukoi are more realistic, and not cringe worthy.

It has such a bizarre story line. I am in first episode, dived in, without any prior knowledge, wang kept talking about his father, and then suddenly starts talking as if HE has romantic feelings towards HIS father - I thought In was his father. But, thankfully that wasn't the case, but in reality it didn't get any better than that, imagine liking someone your parent had romantic feelings toward, imagine, if In and Wang's father got married, in that case, they would fathers of wang. I can't watch this.

the amount of self hatred I have for myself is immense. I first found it weird, and cringe crying for not cutting egg properly. then I remember one time I opened a jar of cheese and then it fell from my hands and there was cheese everywhere. I started crying, and kept telling myself I am such a failure, blah, blah. basically all I can say is...it's possible, it's weird, but if you keep bottling things up, then something small happens and you just lose it all. some people are born very sensitive, they are called hyper sensitive something, there is good sides to it, but it can also be overwhelming, and make us appear dramatic sometimes. but yes, I get your point, I didn't like the plot of the drama that much too.
