There is NO PROBLEM with the drama...Honestly, it all started bc of the limited descriptions and hints and trailers of the drama that fired up a lot of people who only read 1 article and never watched the drama. It;s kinda JTBC to blame partly not only those who tried to cancel a not problematic drama bc of a misunderstanding on their end. Thankfully SNOWDROP is not only airing on JTBC but also on Disney+ where the ratings and placing is high. The drama did well but it could have been the hit of the year if JTBC was more careful or at least revealed the scrip to the court or the organizations that protested and ended it all at once...

what are you talking about feminism is literally one sentence - movement for women to have equal rights and oppertunities as men. We are ALL feminists if you think about it...If you treat everyone as equals you are a feminist..That is what is it...

The drama is fiction tho...That is the problem with the people protesting against the drama...There are literally no issues with it nor is it based on true events the drama says it every episode that all characters and events are fiction..When a drama is based on real life people and stories they mention it in the beginning that the story is based on real life events. Tihs aint. Fact is in many korean dramas they mention tragedies that are recent and murders even dramas are made based on them...So its rediculous they are arguing about fictional story when their other dramas are literally based on true stories and crimes that are very recent...SNOWDROP has 0 issues no historical distortion

Please watch it. One of the reasons her family does not disclose the reason for her death is because they want her name to be associated only with her great work in dramas and movies and what a great person she was. She was an upcoming star just scratch away from her 1st leading role. Don't let her last project go to waste. She would not want that. So view her character as if she is still alive. That is the best thing we can do to send her off in her last project.

Rest in peace Kim Mi Soo you were an amazing actress and a beautiful woman.

That is nothing something we should speculate about so hold your thoughts from going wild. I don't think that will allow her to rest properly in peace and I'm sure that is the reason why her family does not want to disclose it. They want her name to only be associated with her acting projects not her death or the reason for it.

I hope Kim Mi So rests in peace. Snowdrop was her final project I hope you guys don't stop watching it because that is not something she would want. Great and beautiful actress. At first, I wondered how would I be able to keep watching the drama knowing that she is passed away. Not to mention we don't know why and how she died so we can't help but think of the worst but it's not for us to speculate since whatever the reason was it was sickness and a health issue. Not to mention in my opinion that is not letting her rest in peace in the best way possible. Let's make her final project memorable and worth remembering and re-watching for years. Rest in peace Kim Mi So.

To be honest the drama really changes through out episode 1 makes you think oh romance dating blah blah...Honestly if someone hates nonsensical romanticism ep.1 is huge turn off but it gets better each episode until you reach ep 5 and you have "that" situation for a few episodes which I don't mind but hopefully it will be over in the next few.., When it comes to the distortion I watched the drama with my Korean friends from work since they are the ones that introduced me to all these dramas back in high school years ago. In their opinion, there is NO distortion but the drama walks a thin line you don't know if there will be in the future episodes. The drama is defiantly reality-based fiction on a topic that is quite sensitive. The thing Koreans had a problem with is ANSP being shown as good people since they killed many innocent people who were just protesting. JTBC I feel like is partly to blame for the misunderstanding because the early synopsis and character description with the trailer gave off the idea that the North Korean spy infiltrates as part of the democratic movement and that he is a protester and that ANSP are shown in a good light. Not to mention the original name of Young Ro was Young Cho which was the name of a famous female protester...So many people thought JTBC are creating a drama to distort what really happened back then. The drama is totally okay of course just because the Koreans I know think everything is perfectly okay with the drama does not mean others will think the same.

Honestly, Snowdrop, While you were sleeping and Connect might be the biggest projects of Jung Hae In... He chooses dramas with amazing plots really.

I was also wondering why such a big actress is taking on a support role not the female lead but now I also see why...In some dramas indeed there are more than 2 leads. This drama has around 5 or 6 bc they all have very important roles in the story that you cant call just supporting.

You should watch it. I decided out of spite...Like is it so bad? Is there actually something problematic? People should first see things for themselves before attacking or boycotting. There is NO historical distortion. Can't believe I almost missed on this drama. I honestly feel on edge every episode till the end and just cant wait till next week...Ugh oh but yeah good thing you aint there for the romance bc it feels like it aint the main focus but everything else. I would give it 10/10 but the blunder and bad way they handled the promotion of the drama makes me want to give it 9.5...I hope the ending and future episodes stay the same quality and consistency. Honestly I already rewatched episodes of course with skipping but I don't wanna miss out even on the small details. The drama is a rare beautiful gem. I dont see problems with the actors in fact they are doing amazing...People that cant call it out for historical distortion anymore now attack the idol in the cast like bruh the girl is doing fine. You did not have problems with her until few days ago and the first 5 episodes...Sheesh once people make up their mind they dont lose focus that the other side is the wrong one.

oh my gosh your killing me why you guys so funny XD... One Way Ticket is such a classic still plays on the radio. Should we see it as a hint how the drama will end? One way ticket to Germany? North Korea? lol The drama is perfect so far 7 episodes in we just need the perfect ending and we are done. If they break my heart the drama rating from me is going from 10 to 0. I swear.

It's not overhyped...Trust me watch it. You won't regret it. After the 1st episode I have not skipped not 1 scene and this is a long episode drama like 1 hour and more. The cha cha cha drama is overhyped I agree tho...Honestly that drama is a huge no for me 3 out of 10 but Snowdrop this drama has me on the edge of my seat always can't give it less than 10 or 9.5 to be honest. Its amazingly refreshing.
