JJ in glasses!! And a much more mature story about love (or the lack of) after marriage. I'm looking forward to more of NetJJ after LUAT, but at the same time, not prepared if it's gonna be a heartbreak or them divorcing... Wishing this series have a happy ending <3

Also in the novel, they first met again in the modern times at Thi's mansion (Thi and Phop's parents live in family mansion), instead of hotel setting. Phop made breakfast for Nakhun and peeled oranges for him. There were also other instances he tried to "hint" to Nakhun about their past life and flirt (more actively in the novel), I enjoyed their extended dialogues more in the novel and how he really took care of Nakhun (buying him earrings, driving him to and fro his dorm). They also ran into Lady Varna during their study date, and Nakhun got jealous 🤭

Ofc, I also enjoy the drama too. The hotel setting allows more past-life characters to be shown: Meng, A chai, Sai, Kong.

The twist that Phop is also the one orchestrating Nakhun's time travel back to Ayutthaya & working with the fortune teller? That's new in the drama. 🤭 And how Lord Preechapiban's reincarnation is Nakhun's Mom.

In the novel, Past Phop visited the Old Monk Luang Ta (changed to fortune teller in drama) after Nakhun disappeared during gun shot. He confirmed his suspicions that the OG Klao was long dead in his first disappearance, and KNOWS Nakhun is a time traveller, that their auras are different. Luang Ta told Phop that Nakhun came back because of karmic ties/unfulfillment, and he went back to where he came from.

In the drama they changed it to Phop never realising that OG Klao and Nakhun are 2 different lifetimes. It's just my personal preference, I didn't like that Past Phop never knew his OG Klao was dead and it's Nakhun all along. He never figured out how Klao's body ended up in the pond after the gun shot, it's 2 bodies.

My thoughts on last EP: I love how DMD gave us 1h 20+min, not a last min / short modern day scenes. Plus 2 NC scenes???? What a treat!!

Personally I prefer the Novel ending/reunion (spoilers)

2. In the novel, Chuay in the present is reincarnated as Pan's friend in university studying the same as him. So he has access to education :) he even borrowed Nakhun's study notes

I think they changed the modern setting where they meet to hotel so they had modern Chuay and Sai working there.

4. I also wish we get to see Nakhun's dad in the present! In my mind, I'm thinking how nice it is if it's his dad from the past, Lord Preechapiban?? Bcos in the novel, Phop's parents also reincarnated as his parents.

Also they didn't have the elevator scene in the novel. Seems like they changed the setting. XD

In the drama, Modern Phop and Nakhun met in a hotel where Sai (and Chuay in the preview?) were working. In the novel Nakhun went by a year without meeting Phop and only met him when he stayed over at Thi's huge mansion (he almost had a "car accident" from Phop's white Mercedes car when Thi's dog ran out).

I love their present story in the novel, it was detailed, how Nakhun tries to "woo" Phop instead in this lifetime by asking him to tutor him for basic law exam... And at the end when Phop brings him to beach in Pattaya for a vacation (which he promised to bring him back in Ayutthaya times after their wedding that didn't happen). 🥰 How Nakhun brought Phop to see his parents etc...

Although there are changes, I love both drama and the novel!!! I'm sure EP 12 of drama will be awesome as well!! :)

Nakhun/Klao didn't get caught again in the hut by Cherd in the novel. Based on a letter he found from his father that detailed Lord Harn's dad to be the mastermind of opium smuggling, he stayed at the mansion as it was too dangerous for him to go out. Lord Phop and his father went to capture the dad, Harn and Cherd.

There wasn't too much action or twists like the drama where Lord Phop's father pretended to be poisoned by the drinks and outsmarted Lord Harn's dad. Or Lord Phop following Harn into the forest supposedly naively "alone" then turns out his men were there too.

Pim didn't die in novel if I remember, just captured.

But I like the drama version also with the action and twists, how Jom x Kaew and the tea house staff were in it too

Just finished reading the novel. I hope they better give us at least a full episode of Phop & Nakhun in the present, I love their story in the present too!!! 🥰 Also there are some differences between the novel and drama, I appreciate the changes/additions in drama :)

Same!! I love their chemistry. Watching the show is not enough, I look at LUAT TikTok edits and their BTS + In their Instagram they hang out with each other IRL outside the show too & comment on each other's posts 😆😆 too sweet~~

I think it's bcos Phop's Dad trust the 2 women more than Klao. They're his concubines and own children being put at risk after all + Soon after it's revealed Klao is with Phop just adds to the fuel

I felt JJ managed to deliver in his crying scene on Ep 7 (when he pleaded Phop to let go of their love) + his first ever NC scene. But the latest EP 9 (after Dad refuses their relationship) can be improved

The aunts brainwashed Phop's dad into thinking it's Klao's fault when they're the ones collaborating with Cherd.

Also I can't imagine what kind of mother they are to put their kids at risk to be with Cherd alone when he has a freaking BLADE

One of the aunts also flirts with Cherd's man in the market calling him handsome and giving him info tsk tsk...
