I started off this drama due to the comedic reels being shared

Besides its Comedy🤣 💯, I'm enjoying how well-written the dialogue lines are.

And it isn't your usual K rom-com fluff with the good looking and youthful actor/actress - but the couple here is older and gives off the funny bickering Ajumma/Ajusshi vibes 🤣 Proving that you don't need a young couple with good looks for a good rom-com

For those who read the novel, is it as good as the drama (and largely similar in story)?

I soooo want more of Nakhun/Klao x Plop but am hesitant to read cos it'll spoil what's ahead... 🙈

They're supposedly Plop's aunts right? I don't understand how they get to peek into Plop x Klao in their room at night... Like bruh what were they doing there in first place?

Klao's Mom seems more understanding, as Klao said she loves him dearly. It's too bad in the next preview it seems she's going away for awhile then the 2 aunties ran their shitty mouth to Klao's dad...

This. Plop is 💯 a green flag. Loved how he asks for consent before he first kissed him and again asked for consent before their love making.

He's so tender and patient with Klao too

Also Klao is a good detective at piecing things together about the opium trade... but I don't get why he has the guts to investigate things alone?? In the forest at ep 7 and then only with Chuay at ep 8. Does he not realise he can be easily outnumbered by the bandits???

Plop is such a GREEN FLAG!!! 💚 The way he is so patient with Klao, never upset with him, even asking for consent before he first kisses Klao or proceeds with the unboxing...

Unboxing scene was so hot 🥵 and passionate hehehe

Also the next episode: arrrgfhhh why did Plop's Mom go away... Leaving the 2 blabbering aunties

Go for it!! I needed the laughs so I started watching although I usually wait for more episodes.

Make sure you have other ongoing dramas to watch though. 😆 It's a fun drama!

Just realised this is an adaptation of the Jap Anime/novel The Story of Saiunkoku... Hoping it will have a happy ending in this!!

It is not that bad. I understand some parts of the plot are confusing, but thankful for explanations back when I was watching.

The cinematography and acting are good. Plot wise, it's interesting although confusing. Plus, a rare HE for GJM drama
