wait so the show follows the novel by about 90%/......what do you think they changed because i havent read the novel yet. basically i want to know if i watch the show would i need to read the novel to understand anything or does the show expand on the novels story making it so if you watch it you are satisfied because it tells the novels story and also expands on it......i look forward to your answer

it safe to say humans in this show are the most shittiest people alive, how do you attack a clan that don't even want to attack you, wouldn't expect anything less I would say after all, its what we do in real life anyways

lol even if she didnt have any main role in the wuxia series am watching any time you see her she always takes the stage. keep it up, its hard to find people who have a natural flare for drama

the drama is good i mean really good. at times the plot made no sense but I kept watching because of how interesting it was and if you consider that the budget wasnt hollywood level or that it was a film project from school students from what i heard. the story is good but the ending was shitty. i guess they did it that way to make it openended

so they are both standalone universes then, like they share the same name but different storyline. example being the Halo TV show and the City hunter kdrama. they share the name of their predecessors but not the story line. is that the same with this show?

even if it doesnt follow the novel, is it still worth watching because i saw a clip of the fight break sphere and one part of it wasnt in the novel something about a scroll and the world. nothing in the novel hinted that the flame emperor was the savior of the world he just happened to go against the evil doers...... hence why i wanted to know if it follows the novel atleast in the ending. You know the novel ending. basically emperor fights emperor and then the winner ascends

i did read the novel just not sure if its the same with the show. and the novel isnt that long. once you really get into it its hard to put down. it took me a week to finish but it was definitely worth it. try it out

joy of life male lead wasnt OP by the way. its just that everything had been planned out by him mom and by himself. it just meant he was smart enough to actually plan his stuff
