in dynasty times. they dont marry their mother, they do however take their mother or parents as their consort/empress dowager or ruling regent, sort of like a consigliere of the mafia who is only second to the boss of the mafia. the mother will advice the child on what to do so in face value they look like they are married but in reality it couldnt be far from the truth because he took her as his empress dowager but 9 times out of 10 once the dynasty ruling body changes the past generation are usually sent to another part of the country to retire you don't want people to get any ideas that your weak and ripe for killing

i have questions 1. did the king find out 2. did they(the country and everyone) find out about her betrayal 3. what happened to the cheater girl and the prince right after he was found out what did the king do 4. did the cheaters die a horrible death
if the king didnt findout or do anything after finding out then this show isnt worth watching to me
thats your problem and no one else, dont blame others for your inability to pay attention or atleast have patience for a tv show to unfold. if you watched to the ending you would see the main leads growing up as characters through being zombies and also being used like dogs.....learn to take responsibility for your own BS, dont pass it off with useless excuse like Main Leads and all that bollocks

not all NIS agents are field agents just like not all CIA agents are field agents. spy work isnt like james bond with fast cars and stuff blowing up. its literally spying and hoping the enemy doesnt notice your intent if not, you are ended right there and nobody misses you, heck they dont even know where you died. thats the essense of spy work, lots of guns, lots of hiding and lots of praying not to be found out. James bond really over exaggerated the trope. THeres a reason spies are told if you go in the field and something happens "we never saw or spoke to you"
what made this show awesome is the revenge part and military operations
The show has little to do with the novel but the ending is about the same when it comes to who rules the world.
i am not that much obsessed with the novel. am okay with adaptations of novels so far the plot is in it and also the ending coincide. that way i dont have to think about it a lot. i understand in adaptations people like to take creative liberties. thats why i asked if the show followed the plot and does the plot make sense. the last thing anyone would do is watch a show there the plot made no sense lol. so if the plot makes sense, the events are solid with conclusions to them and the ending makes sense and sort of coincide with the novel am okay does it do the above?
