Easily my favorite couple of the year. Have not seen any other couple with such exploding chemistry all year to be brutally honest. Even their promotional elle korea shoot is off the roof with their insane chemistry. I hope both of them bag some awards for their hard work on this project. The kiss was a bit controversial imo. I will tell what I felt. The ending was mainly about Ukkie finally moving on from Naksu. So that kiss looked like a farewell kiss for me especially he only saw mudeok/jsm appearance when JBY entered the room and was drunk anyway. So I am guessing he is over Naksu as of tonight and henceforth will only try to love JBY from his POV. So I couldn’t feel the butterflies with that kiss. But from preview he has started warming up for her without the naksu baggage I feel. So mixed feelings for me. I am really waiting for the passionate intimate embrace of both of them knowing the full truth. As of now I still feel bad for Naksu/JBY as the drunken kiss is so unfair to her from her POV 🙈
It's not talked about much but that Naksu- Seo Yul scene was a thing of a beauty from episode 3. It's so beautiful how seo yul embraced being dumb just so he can continue to be friends with her and how naksu kept pulling his leg for being airheaded. These subtle nuances are what makes for a great viewing imo.
