If you mean 'BL' as in gay then yes it's 'BL' because the boys like each other. But I wouldn't categorise it as…
"People have been fetishising each other since the beginning of time" so?? that doesn't make it right.

Have you lived the experience of being a gay asian person in asia? Because I'm speaking from the lived experience. If you asked a gay person in (east)asia if this film or any other lgtbq film if's BL they would disagree. Labelling all gay asian media as BL is what I find annoying. And the great thing is I don't decide :) you can enjoy all those fetishised content but that that doesn't stop people from criticising it.

I don't have any problems with BL that don't address lgbtq issues. I enjoy the fantasy of gay asian male relationships without the homophobia as a gay asian male myself. But I have a problem when the fantasy goes beyond that and makes gay asian men into these stereotypical objects which has REAL consequences to REAL gay asian men in their day to day life. So I can decide what representation is proper or not :D

Yes, I'm aware that those exist but for asian lgbtq theres a distinction between BL and queer/lgbtq because most BL genre media is fetishise-y or pure fantasy for straight girls. BL just has that image in asia so many realistic gay media don't categorise themselves as BL. But I guess now a days the line between them is getting blurry as there is more and more BL media produced that has proper LGBTQ representation, so it was my mistake to generalise.

I used "queer" as its a common term used to label LGBTQ films in the industry. Many LGBTQ film events, organisations and awards have the term "queer" in their name. I personally don't see what's so problematic about it...

was Yori neurodivergent? what was the symbolism behind writing things backwards? i think they wanted to convey…
There was the scene where Yori talks about time turning backwards and being reborn when the universe breaks, I think that's a reason why he wrote backwards? I also think this person has a good explanation to the letter the teacher read https://x.com/neet21_/status/1745781376077779400?s=46&t=SKwfAQJjHCUrGx9Z56WOVA

This is a Movie where I can't tell if it's BL or Not ( No tag) so up to viewers to pick which they want? and also…
If you mean 'BL' as in gay then yes it's 'BL' because the boys like each other. But I wouldn't categorise it as BL, "queer" is a more appropriate label for this film. I feel like BL is its own genre of gay romance where the struggles of being queer don't exist or are addressed.

The time travelling element of this drama doesn't make sense...things line up way too perfectly when he returns to the new 2023. And what about his memories? How will he live/adapt in this new timeline when he has only lived 1995. If I was Eun Gyeol I would go crazy lol. It would feel like my parents are strangers since they grew up differently. I mean they're practically not my original parents because of that.

Would've been better and more satisfying if he returned to his original 2023 and worked things out. Great start but rushed nonsensical ending for me. I feel like I'm the only one who feels this way but then again its a silly little romcom kdrama maybe I'm expecting too much.

I enjoyed this! Aside from the low-budget production issues (pacing and audio especially) it was still a very cute romcom with good kisses, handsome actors and sweet moments <3

I don't care what anyone says, how bad the audio gets or how confusing the subtitles are, for some unexplainable…
So true. I don't even know how I'm enjoying this mess

Sunwoo and Yookyeom give cat and dog vibes and Jioh and Yiwon give fox and rabbit vibes.

The dubbing is throwing me off. Couldn't they at least try to make it sound like it's recorded on site. I guess it's low budget so it's understandable. Other than that I'm in love with the dynamic and chemistry for both couples which is a rare. And the kiss scene between yookyeom and sunwoo was <333333

Tbh the actors visuals carried. This was quite boring. The last kiss was really good but I honestly couldn't feel the romantic tension leading to it. The romance was not romancing for me unfortunately

Such a touching series that brings insight into how gay men can succumb to what society deems as a normal and fulfilling life. Akira is extremely lucky to have someone as forgiving as Yuuki! And something about seeing a persons life from the start to when they've aged and passed always makes me cry :')

Idk if this just me or how i was raised but seeing two such young boys kiss it felt... kinda weird
If it were a girl and boy you wouldn't find it weird

Couldn't stop smiling watching episodes 9 & 10 :') The chemistry and intimacy between Jae Won and Ji Hyun is phenomenal. It'd be hard for future KBLs to top this series!
