There is still time, I do hope we will see much more of him after ep 30
I want more right now! I guess I'm too impatient, specially because the chemistry between the lead pairs is SO GOOD. I just want to watch them on screen even if they are doing nothing.
- I WANT MORE ROMANCE BETWEEN THE LEADS! THEIR CHEMISTRY IS SO HOT I KEEP GIGGLING AND SMILING EVERYTIME THEY'RE ON MY SCREEN. THE WAY SHE SHUT HIM UP WHEN HE SCREAMED AT THE ROOFTOP! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM THEY'RE ONE OF MY MOST LOVED CPs FROM THIS YEAR! PLEASE DIRECTOR GIVE US MORE!!!!
- I'm glad the team leader's wrongdoings were finally outed but I would have loved to see him suffer and actually be fired.
- Sheng Yang starting his own company is PERFECT! Like he said he has to rise fast in order to catch up with Jian Bing. I think him being his own boss instead of a regular office worker will help shift the power dynamics between the two and lay grounds for them becoming more equal in the relationship (even if she is more experienced and richer). Right now the gap is WAY too big, specially because he's unemployed. Having his own studio at least brings him out of the employee aura and gives him a BOSS aura!
- I miss seeing his mama and papa on screen, they should show more of these two!
- The ex husband is such an idiot, how have these women not slapped him across the face yet? I feel like the scriptwriter made a mistake showing him as a cheating husband. The audience can never be on the side of cheaters. If they had just shown the divorce due to boredom or distance, the audience would still accept so much focus on him later on. In the previews for tomorrow, it's all about him spending more time with Sheng Yang- I hope he doesn't try to screw SY over. I really wonder how lovestruck Shan Shan is to put up with such a pathetic character, but I guess they say love is blind!
- The uncle and his nephew can pack up and leave, and take JB's annoying ass sister with them.
**This comment is only for fellow XZ fans- general drama watchers, please ignore**
As a Xiao Zhan fan I have to admit that I watch his dramas firstly for him. I will enjoy ensemble dramas no problem, but he has to be featured in more than 50% of the screen time. As in with WDB, there were a lot of characters, but Xiao Zhan was always front and centre.
โจโจIt really hurts me to see him have such few scenes in this drama that he shot almost 6 months for. I can't help but feel angry at the director/ Xinli team, and I hope this is the last XZ drama to treat him this way.
There are so many episodes where Sheng Yang appears just for 10 minutes/ 45mins, it's very disorienting for viewers. Ofcourse XZ is great and his storyline with Bai Baihe is absolutely the cutest, but people start getting frustrated when they have to watch 60 minutes of other storylines everyday, it's too much.
This drama would have been a super hit if they had focused on the Main Leads more. Sunshine With me started with 1.5% ratings and could have gone to even 2% if they had the right focus. I had hoped for better with Xinli but alas :(
Okay so what's the deal with FL and her friend after the betrayal, did she just forgive her cause in ep21 they…
I think FL feels that the best friend's reasons for liking her ex husband are genuine, and that the bff has loved her ex from childhood. So she has kind of accepted their relationship and isn't too concerned with what her ex husband is doing with his life.
- I loved the scenes between Sheng Yang and his mother, her concern for his well being as he job hunts, giving him extra food and looking out for him generally was so beautifully done.
- Loved the scene between Sheng Yang and Song Chen, they're really brothers that go through everything together
- My little Pan Rou! I thought I'd hate the character but the actress did such a good job and I like that she doesn't try to plot her way into Sheng Yang's heart. Good girl!
- The BFF and ex Husband storyline: I'm sorry I'll be in the minority here, but they've grown on me. They have chemistry (!) and I feel like their relationship is unique and interesting and I'm curious to see what happens in the future. I also feel like this was the first time Jian Bing showed true emotions; she's otherwise so walled off, and even took her divorce so stoically. She was genuinely hurt by her friend and it showed. Bai Baihe played that scene really well. I don't agree with the Bff + Ex Hubby relationship morally but I'm glad Jian Bing still has people who care for her no matter how flawed they are
- I'm gonna beat the hockey couple with hockey sticks if they show up on my screen one more time! Nobody likes you, Go away!
- Xiao Zhan with kids was the highlight of the episode for me :)
- I love love love every moment between the two leads- their chemistry is so good. This director really messed up by not focusing more on their relationship. We're 20 episodes in and the leads still haven't held hands or hugged or anything. The slow burn is indeed very slooow. I hope to see more closeness between them in the next few episodes and I hope we get to see them in at least 60% of the episode screen time. Theirs is such a beautiful story of infatuation turning into love, I want to see more!
