Xiao Zhan is such a good actor! today's episode broke my heart. I love how realistic xiao zhan's acting is, very natural and restrained. Loving his portrayal of Sheng Yang.

- he is not a doormat, he has an epic showdown later in the show with his boss and overcomes all his workplace issues. plus his friend is very loyal to him and comes through for him in many instances. - the fl is competent in her own right and this is a story of her gaining independence from her ex and starting her own journey - the romance between the two leads is very realistic. the hero isn't the typical alpha male that you see in dramas, but a genuine guy with a good heart, who fights against all odds and rises in his workplace and fights for the girl of his dreams. - I'd say a lot of things change over the course of the story, and both the leads are very strong characters who develop a healthy relationship full of mutual respect and growth. im enjoying it a lot and I think you will too if you stick with it.
I've got zero patience for that hockey couple. even the ex husband's storyline is more watchable than those two.
I LOVE the parents' storyline. It's so realistic and warm. Every marriage goes through its ups and downs but the process of reconciliation is shown so beautifully in the show.
And of course I love our main cp. I wish they get more chances to interact with each other soon. The show is spectacular whenever they are together. Great chemistry between xiao zhan and bai bai he 💯

The scenes between sheng yang's parents are so beautifully acted. I was crying throughout ep 11. Love can be so beautiful but so difficult all at the same time. Personally, I do think his mom is right and his dad should learn to appreciate her more and help her with daily chores.
