Disappointing rom-com
Rom-coms notoriously make or break on lead actors performance while story is second thought.FL was just ok, i have seen her before and while i think she has gotten better, she isn't able to have the presence necessary to lead FL focused rom-com. Her acting falls short and i don't find it good enough for the concept.
ML is a huge disappointment. He feels less developed than the imaginary boyfriends FL meets and he is extremely bland, i've seen this actor before and i certainly expected better from him.
Story was slight disappointment too, i felt like imaginary boyfriend game was used too much that it took away from MLs character and it was bit too much. Though premise kinda told it so i won't hold it against it too much.
Overall:
It was mid rom-com and it was ok one time watch. I expected better from everyone. I wouldn't recommend it as there is plenty of better choices.

Terrible, through and through.
This was one of the biggest disappointments in this years kdrama land to me. I had some expectations but it under delivered at every front i just can't believe what i just watched. At the start they preface that we should think that these two people like each other, to me it didn't seem like it for more than half of the drama. ML just took everything FL threw at him and smile through it. It made it seem that ML has no agency, he was only vessel for FL to build her character up. He really only got 1 episode to build his character and it was at almost end of the whole drama.
They committed worst mistake you could do in romance drama. They made one of the leads unlikable. FL was unlikable from the start, that's not to say you can't make unlikable characters but they can't just be unlikable, they have to also be some one to root for, in this drama FL was just straight up unlikable without any other redeeming traits.
Story was mess of its own. Synopsis and start of the drama hinted about the twin but honestly he was side note in the whole drama until previously mentioned 1 episode which was MLs episode. So basically ''biggest'' plot device was just forgotten completely. Instead they brought this lawyer who suddenly decided to pray on our FL and honestly i was very uncomfortable how he abused his position as a lawyer to advance his relationship with his clients opponent. He should be disbarred and investigated for abuse of power. Not to mention this drama really didn't need triangle as those are plot devices to advance romance plot but we and FL already knew how ML felt so it was completely pointless.
This drama also should've ended at 10 episodes, episode 9 was completely filler ( with said lawyer, yikes) and episodes 11-12 were filler with destroying second couples relationship until they ran out of episode 12 when they decided to hold wedding for them, like what? That was so obviously terrible writing i really don't know what to say about that even. (with lawyer again, yikes.)
So props to this whole drama, i've not had this much emotion watching dramas in last months as i had hatewatching this, this was trainwreck that just didn't stop at any point. Terrible 4,5/10 would never watch again.

Biggest red flag FL
Premise was great, it had potential to become hit with simplistic story but deep message. Instead it went downhill fast.FL is biggest red flag in kdrama land that i've seen this far. She makes promises she can't keep, she uses people and she is just bland as a character. She promises to take primary guardianship of the baby and as soon as hot man arrives, baby is forgotten to MLs care. She neglects baby multiple times and she really doesn't deserve guardianship at all. She doesn't deserve ML or the baby.
ML is classic green flag character who bends his back to prop up FL and FL throws it all to dumpster to date SML. At this point of the drama, i wish he would grow a spine and take the baby away from FL cause she doesn't really do anything to help anyways and start family of two.
SML is completely unnecessary character. He is epitome what death of creativity means in this business. He adds nothing and takes away importance from the great premise and destroys it with FL.
Conclusions:
This could've been superb unlikely family drama if it just did what the premise promised. Now it became another love triangle drama among the sea of them with nothing setting it a part. It is so shallow and disappointing.

Great rom-com, bad political drama
The premise caught my attention at first cause it's right up my alley and i eat this kind of dramas up. The rom-com at start was perfection to me and i enjoyed so much that it would've been my favorite drama of the year if it held it up. It all changed around at the 7th episode, when political 2nd act started, it was out right bad and characters made 180s on what little development they had. It definitely partly ruined rom-com magic for me.Positives
- I loved the leads, both were great and delivered what was asked from them.
- The rom-com arc at the first act and second acts romantic scenes were great and i'm big rom-com fans so i enjoyed them.
- OST was great
- Visuals in this are next level, this was visual masterpiece at it's core and it's the best thing by far in this.
- Brother and sister-in-law were great subversion of expectations and were great addition.
Neutral
- I don't mind the abolishing that much, i feel like it was always coming so i was prepared for it.
- The ending as a whole, liked the romance of it but the whole execution was kinda meh.
Negatives
- All political plot lines were half baked cause they did nothing with them at the first rom-com act which meant it never stood a chance
- SML/PM, straight up character who when the villain arc started just switched up from what little was established before, very poorly written character, good acting though.
- SFL/Queen mother, pretty much same problem as with SML/PM, her character was villain until switch flipped and suddenly she isn't. Also she got scot free abusing her children and that is just awful. Korean dramas usually don't do anything to mother when they abuse their children and it's no different here, very awful for Korean society to be like this, worst character by far for me, good acting though.
- Queen mother father AKA Jin Mu, terrible miscast, i feel like casting director failed the writers here, writers clearly tried to do some mystery on who is the villain and the casting just spoiled it and then writers wasted the character anyway.
- FLs father, such a non character and terribly written one.
- Secretary pairing seemed very forced and written just cause kdramas need second pairing.
Conclusion
For the rom-com parts i applaud, i enjoyed them and leads were great. Visually this is 10/10 and it was pleasure to watch this through out. The political plot was failure and it fell super flat, i think this would've done better with more lighthearted direction or leaned more in to political plot lines and make it longer, this combination which left both little meh in the 2nd act was blunder.
I have to say, i was going to rate it 8.5 but for SFL/Queen mother get away scot free with the kid while she abused him while in power was too jarring to see so that took the half away. It is just so weird to see child abuse as a little mistake and it's never addressed or she never gets punished for it, i just can't believe this is still a thing in 2026.
For the rom-com parts and visuals i can give it 8.0, it's okay one time watch for them. I probably wouldn't rate it this high if i wasn't big rom-com enjoyer.

Marvel-esque superhero comedy with Korean twist
Prefacing that i binge watched this cause i was pretty sure i wouldn't come back to it if i didn't just out right watch everything at once.I'm pretty sceptical of superhero stories in general but this had good cast and it sounded very funny from eveything i saw. It definitely delivered at some parts and failed at some.
Positives
- Park Eun Bin delivered, she was superb as always and one of the main reasons i continued to watch it in first place.
- Duo of comedic relief characters acted by Choi Dae Hoon and Im Sung Jae were good too, they brought up the comedy up multiple levels.
- All in all, this was good comedy and i enjoyed the comedy very much.
Negatives
- The whole superhero story is very reminiscent of the mutant storyline from Marvel, and i don't think Marvel does it well and neither does this. Powers are scaled by the moment, not by actual writing and i hate it about superhero slop in general.
- The serious story was very predictable overall and i think this could've worked more if it was full on comedy rather than try the marvel route of superhero comedy action.
- As the serious story was a meh, it inevitably means that the villains are too, they were okayish to forgettable.
Conclusion
It was decent watch for it's comedic parts and for Park Eun Bin showcase of acting but fell flat on the serious parts. I wouldn't have watched this without her doing superb job and it was pleasure to see. If you like comedy and marvel-esque superhero story, i'd say must watch otherwise it is okay one time watch for most people.
