this drama is based on the hyyh universe of bts that is the trilogy of albums. if you know the save me webtoon then it is also related to that but not entirely. it is definitely worth watching. but it's really heart wrenching and painful. so be prepared. it is not a bl.

agree with everything you said!! 7high has always been on his high horse and had a superiority complex all throughout the show. the way he blames others and threatens them is vile. he always wanted to control hyun gyu and when he couldn't get his way, he got mad at him. eunyu played well but she was also planning and plotting and hyunjoon was ready to betray hyun gyu every chance he got but even they have escaped getting any criticism. it's only hyun gyu who got literal death threats for just playing the game how it's supposed to be played.

exactly!! people be hating on him like he killed someone when in reality he didn't even once betray those who he had been playing with since the beginning. 7high is so aggressive and gaslights people but they're fine with that. hyun joon was always looking for a chance to betray hyun gyu and till the end was selfish, first joined hyun gyu then betrayed him and then started playing with eun gyu and 7high but when he felt threatened that he'd get eliminated, he wanted to join forces with hyun gyu again. but people are also fine with him. kyu hyun is not exactly that smart to be able to make it so far without help but even that doesn't affect them. but somebody who has actually showed good performance, intelligence, loyalty and bravery will be hated by people because their fave did not win.
