Can anyone else who read the novel confirm that the new name chosen for the main character towards the end was different from what the drama chose? Because I could have sworn I read that it meant sunset instead, but also I couldn't be sure of what the name was anyway because of how the translation of the novel I read went really wack towards the end that the names were all like Chinese instead.
Just curious and found it funny how the new name ended up sounding close to part of the actual actor's name: Baek 'YuYeon' --> 'Yu Yeon'Seok
It's in the novel if I'm not mistaken.Logically it makes more sense why the chairman would pick his secret illegitimate…
Maybe that food sneaking part was just swapped in the drama? Bc in the drama there was that scene where kid SE gave kid HJ his plate of food after she was scolded to stop eating
No, Baek Uiyong is still Janghoâs son, otherwise he wouldnât have doted on his grandson (the psycho) in the…
Tbh I saw it as the chairman doting/spoiling the real one when he already decided to just hide the bodies of the first few children he killed. Didnât decide to get rid of him until like the 4th/5th body.. I donât disagree that he doted on the fake one as well but in a twisted way though.
Sort of feels like the whole going missing role got swapped between FL and ML from the novel towards the end there unless more shit goes down in the last 2 eps
The stabbing scene between Baek Sa eon and Park Jae Do really showcase how amazing they are as actors. On the…
She was calling the ambulance at least and tbh she was probs in shockâ like dude admitted in front of her he was the one that pushed her off the cliff
Correct me if my understanding was wrong but based on the scene of the mother and his husband, baek uiyong was…
No, Baek Uiyong is still Janghoâs son, otherwise he wouldnât have doted on his grandson (the psycho) in the first place. Itâs just not every blood-relation will look obvious which Uiyongâs wife was basically saying her husband didnât inherit the skills/talent his father had, esp compared to Fake Saeon, who resembles Jangho way more in that way. Which then implies ML is Janghoâs illegitimate son, Uiyongâs more successful younger half-brother who he hates even more now. Sorry if that was more confusing lol.
The zoom out they showed implies they did it on the couchđ
Yes I thought it was implied more would have happened that night or like moved to the bedroom anywayâ I mean homegirl even set up all those candles đ Not to mention the novel this was based on is actually smutty lmao
No I think they meant for the ML lol. Was basically implied ML is an illegitimate child of the dead chairman Baek Jangho when she told her husband someone else resembles him way more than him. Also the flashback scene where Jangho said to kid ML thatâs why he never gave him a name.
ML is just going to the ex to check on her/calm her down/reject her carefully because woman sounded like a delirious sobbing wreck on the phone. Gentleman characters like ML never can completely ignore stuff like that lol
I scrolled thru too many comments just now and lost it, but someone down there said EP keeps making the same expression and is flat??? Dude I found him more entertaining to watch bc he had more variety of expressions wdfym
I thought rapyeong shippers wouldâve mentioned this already, but iâm excited for that preview scene shown at the end of ep6 where Rael says to EP âYou canât be here. Itâs too risky.â (Iâm already accepting they wonât be together so thatâs why Iâll just gush over any and all interactions idc)
I wish I just didn't know about this drama until it's already airing, because now I find it too hard to wait 4 monthsâ I have to stop myself from obsessively checking up on it or wanting to theorize

Even the part with the best friend saying âIâm just sadâ got me worked up
