i would say movie would be even better - there was not much story there.

i think they get so used to Idea of bl being popular just because they are bl they no longer thought they need to work hard on them.

I know that Aof adaptations are really good - ATOS and BB are good examples of it. But they were based on books, while original part written and added on by Aof ware not the strongest. I just mean that Aof original writing ability is not that good.

after mc and it's half done script i don't hold by breath for Aof original scripts - still we will get visuals for sure.

Cuteness for cuteness sake is fine as long as its done right. But i agree even though i am up to date with this show i don't think I could write one page per episode synopsis for this drama.
As for popularity I am not surprised - one of only decent show airing was Bed Friends and after it ended attention shifted to ABAAB because there is nothing really attention-grabbing at the moment so lack of competition made this show more popular than it would be in any other time.

ok how this series still stand at 8.3? it's better than enchante but no way it's 8.0 series...

Overstamining writting ability i think.

These productions are relatively cheap and tbh it was pretty decent as bl go, i can give you a whole list of much worse stuff.

uea trauma was added (wasn't in novel from what I heard) so it wasn't deeply integrated or had any sense

Additing two additional episodes was after all bad Idea - totally messed up storytelling and peacing.
Still much better than most airing bl.

Because its easily earn money with very little effort. So all upcoming directors try to earn money with BL because they get sponsors for it. Most of them probably don't even like genre.
