Nah, there was problem with writing from episode 1. It didn't have strong enough foundation to hold the story so as episodes progressed it become only more and more noticeable .

You are confusing thailand entertainment circle with korean one. In thai company don't have such f*cked up contract so actor and idols have much more freedom. Also I see actors from several agencies in this drama... so not sure how exactly this duo was cast....

Most negative commenters point out that it should not be romanticized and be seen as what it really is unfunctional, borlining emotional abusive. But when you read glowing comments on the show no one point it up - because how romantic it is, how much they liked happy ending.... I agree with you that i would like more "real relationship and not some cookie cutter fantasy" but goal should be toxic - to less toxic and not the other way around.
