Agree, the divorces lawyers had so much potential - but have too little screen time to properly develop it.
While bartender and laundromat owner idea sounded good on paper but have no chemistry at all, Their whole "romance" is unwatchable it you ask me.

If they concentrated more on the first couple this show would be much better.

Then you can easily skip to episode 8 ( Nothing new happen expect visiting two more shines and above mentioned patterns)
In the last 2 or 3 episodes there are majority of Earth Mix romance scenes.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse... it get worse..
I am happy that the next episode will be the last one because at this point I just feel bad for actors

Don't confuse no plot with a simple plot. Many dramas like Theory of love of Semantic Error have simple plot but can build momentum and have interesting story.
Here - it went wrong in first 2 episodes that should be the introduction stage ( getting to know characters, main conflict and subplots).
There was almost no plot and with simple story telling it was no wonder that this drama become stale... With more showy storytelling it would probably be better.
The best example of it would probably be the original 2moon - it have a similar setting and very simple storyline but somehow work.

It depend, Harry Potter or Hunger Games adaptations ware pretty faithful to source material but Percy jackson or Dragon Ball were very far off.

Agree, I liked them individually but I didn't observe any romantic sparks between them. Coupled with their character setting - it was very bland...

It might be a lack of intensive workshops as you wrote or a person in GMMTV who pair new ships changed and new one have no eyes for it. Because just like Enchante duo they do not mesh well romantically on the screen....

When ep. 1 aired i wrote here that this drama didn't give us a strong enough plot or structure to build any kind of momentum for 8 episodes. There was simply almost no plot there.
So no surprise here for me that it kinda ended this way...

Not going to lie - I usually REALLY HATE when dramas or movie change source material because it almost never come out good.
But in KinnPorshe case I kinda dig it.

Might not be - in novel we never learned how they get to know each others - while screenwriter are also original authors so they might be just filling gaps.

They are very on the sidelines in the novel because it was written from Kinn and Porshe POV - so no exact relationship progress is known

After watching the trailer i think it can be a pretty fun drama - how long they do not concentrate on Annie as a person.
If they added extra in every episode with guest appearances of our GMMTV favorite actors dancing - it would probably be the biggest fanservice hit.
