I felt so sorry for Su Mo to be honest, to hear this out from a third person, and from the person he hates the…
Yeah poor SuMo. He tries so hard to help open the colorless city to save BaiYing and their people so that they can be together. But unknowingly he will be indirectly involved with Bai Ying death by helping her open the colorless city. He was shocked the first time when she jumped and can barely recover from that shock. Now he has to bare the pain of losing her again. I hope that the director will give them a happy ending after all they have been through.

Episode 26 is so cool when Bai Ying and SuMo flew up-side-down to the lake together. Love their interactions together and how both FL and ML are ready to make sacrifice for each other and their people. Fresh look at a pairing from a typical romantic ancient drama. My favorite couple so far - give them a lot of respect.

Most likely it will happen later. Notice Bai Ying hairpiece is different from the one in episode 20. And SuMo…
There might be another kissing scene in trailer 29, 30. Hopefully they don’t fail us again like 22 last time.

I have a questionDoes anyone know if they removed the kiss scene between Su Mo and Bai Ying or will it be later?I…
Most likely it will happen later. Notice Bai Ying hairpiece is different from the one in episode 20. And SuMo also gave her a mark on her neck during the kissing scene which we don’t see in 20.

Woah.. I just realized in the cast list that CYQ also plays Bai Wei and LYF also plays Chun Huan. I’m so excited…
Yes, interested in the back story. The 3 main casts also play their role. I heard SuMo, Bai Ying and Zhen Lan are their reincarnation.

Can anyone tell me what does the Crown Princess's seal actually mean and how does it disappearing affect the situation?
My understanding is that the seal is to guard the princess to make sure she is clear of affection so she can wholeheartedly marry crown prince to ignite the power from the ring to save Kongshang nation. Once she broke the seal, she would not be able to do that. She felt guilty, hence she suicided so they can pick another candidate to replace her. During the suicide the ring chose to save her anyway.

If you follow the plot closely, you’ll know SuMo was possessed in that scene, because he practiced dark magic.…
I agree, the Wuji scene is uneasy, I never agree with that action since he is still himself, and could easily control his anger. SuMo is completely possessed and not himself, 2 different condition. I don’t think he knows what he was doing. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with any mistreatment but I understand where it was coming from.

One of the most off-putting scene in this drama... The ML gotta choke the FL to near death to make her fall for…
If you follow the plot closely, you’ll know SuMo was possessed in that scene, because he practiced dark magic. That was not SuMo in his right stage of mind even Bai Ying recognized that. Hence, it was not considered abusive love. The real SuMo finds all mean to protect BaiYing even die for her. How can he hurt her?

Episode 20 definitely one of the best ones so far!
Yes, 20 is one of the most beautiful episode. I’ve rewatched 3 times already and will continue to rewatch a few more times. Bai Ying is starting to open herself up and the way Sumo looks at her giving me butterflies in stomach. Their chemistry is definitely something and can’t wait to see more scenes of them together. This is one of the dramas that developing slowly and each episode is getting better. Unlike other dramas where it’s good in the beginning but boring as it progresses.

Those who drop the drama before episode 5 will miss the entire plot. I like how balance this drama is...a little humor, romance, fighting, heartache, politics...etc. I don’t like too intense drama nowadays which I think is overrated - this drama balance out well with each element and is giving me a fresh air. I am enjoying all characters by far and they are visually stunning. I’d give extra credit to clothes and hair style artist for this production. ML and FL matches really well and their chemistry is building up and getting better each episode. I also like the General, Prince and Nasheng girl acting.

why better at eps 4 currently
The real plot starts at episode 5, so hang in, more characters introduce and story getting clearer., and you understand each character better. You feel more chemistry between characters as they slowly interact throughout the series.

3 cities are lower class deity from the one that created them. Normally it’s not ok to interfere with someone destiny even if you’re god.

I think the 3 cities are considered gods. I think only the Na Sheng girl is from the human tribe.

i'm already confused in episode one. can someone tell me about the 3 cities or tribes originally and what happened…
What I know is that 7000 years ago Kong king (Bai Ying tribe) sealed the sea and dragon, which put mermaid people into homelessness & slavery. The 2 tribes are supposed to be rivalry. Sumo wants to lead his people back to claim the sea kingdom, while Bai Ying tries to help her people out of colorless cities and take back their power from the other tribe. The other tribe, is one of the created order, supposedly want to take control over the kingdom - guess we considered them as antagonist.

Only the 6 royal leaders who use their powers to open the gate & sacrifice 1/2 their souls can’t be out in the sun. The general was not one who open the gate of colorless city, so he is fine.

So I heard the production team re-released episodes and got rid of the filter which made everything pale and white…
I hope they get rid of the filter as I want to see their raw appearance and acting since they all are good looking people. I grow to like the drama as it progresses, especially chemistry between main lead. Despite their acting, they look really good together - I actually rewatch some of their scenes together and looking forward for more. All of them are decent actors, I think the bad editing and rush story distracts away from their acting skills. I also starting to rewatch the series from the beginning. The second time I watch it, I enjoy it better.
