I get it, the fact that the cheerfulness is the requirement of the character itself.. I knew this and still couldn't feel interested in it. To the point that i thought something is wrong with me to not enjoy this drama. And talking about optimistic part... the initial 5 minutes of ep1 when we are shown a younger version of him, that hit so good! that was so convincing.. and him being optimistic in that time was gut wrenching. But not the adult version in any of the crisis he went through

watched the first episode and I'm dropping this drama. Somehow I couldn't feel connected to both the main leads but instead the second leads acting is way more natural. Saggye went through so much as an adult in the 1st episode.. but i couldn't even feel sorry for him, even his career downfall was handled pretty bad and it made zero impact on me as a viewer
