As a gay man, its sad that I expected protests and censorship from the start but I had hoped the producers would not give in. Its funny how these supposed "allies" would always choose to appease the homophobes in the end. However, I am still invested in this show because we rarely see real and flawed queer people on screen, especially in a conservative society. And even if none of them end up in a real relationship or find what they are looking for, I hope they had fun and felt happy being themselves on screen.
Changyu, I'm rooting for you though.
