I'm from Europe so I never learned much of it in school...but after getting into asian entertainment these recent years, and being exposed to their history, yup, Japanese were just like the Nazis. They have their own share of atrocities they committed against other asian countries' population.

I honestly can't believe the writer of one of my favorite dramas (Romantic Doctor teacher Kim S1) wrote this show too!! ok, the story is very different obviously, but the actual script and dialogue doesn't sound like it was written by an experienced writer!! I was very surprised when I checked her previous works 😅

So, the FL's life is kinda messy...among other things, she was sort of forced to quit the sport after an accident that caused the ML's sister a career ending injury. (we see FL come back to it at the beginning of the series, after a 3y break)
Said sister enters the scene in ep8 and brings trouble to the couple.
ML's family is against him dating FL so their relationship, that was very sweet before, becomes quite complicated, even though they never stop caring about each other.
it is a happy ending, though, so everything gets resolved in the end :)
Watched this for a third time after Castaway Diva reignited my crush for Chae Jonghyeop 🤣 It's still as good as I remembered it!! The first half is just super nice!!! Then we encounter a bit of struggles 🥲 But overall is such a great drama for me!! ♥️
