This drama is so great. I am wondering now if she did kill her husband on purpose. The keep mention about a bridge.…
Of course he could have told the truth to the dad, but they didn't because of the very reason why they lied in the first place, to protect ZL and his alibi...he's not just immature.
I get that impression too, that the writer could be trying to deceive us, since they've also shown signs she could…
Yeah, I agree! Not surprised that the audience would start doubting them from the first episode with the way it's presented.
It's just annoying that some would even think that Nan Ya wasn't really a victim, but some scheming witch..Even if she went on a rampage and killed the whole village it wouldn't change the fact that she's been abused for NO reason most of her life. That should have been made clear, at least ~
People should learn that what's happening in this drama is called a narrative...they are narrating a story that…
It's a bit weird...aside from the individual screen time, they also have barely interacted in most of the recent episodes and it's sad, that's all.. Personally I wish there was a better balance between the different storylines. 🤷♀️
Clearly I had different expectations for this show, it doesn't mean it's bad though ~

Let me add: changes are fine, it's normal when you go from novel to drama. It's just a little upsetting seeing people totally misunderstand a character 😔

Well, then the screenwriter gravely failed at adaptating the drama if that's the feeling it's giving people...disappointing.
Nanya is also an ambiguous character in the novel, that's part of the charm, if you will...but not for second one would question whether the treatment she received from her family, husband, village people was warranted or not. She's a VICTIM. period. Whether she is also a perpetrator in the end, that's left to be seen, for now, but it doesn't change the fact that she's been hurt by everyone around her since she was a child.
Just as bad?!?! Whoever was hurt by her had it coming...you can argue you can't serve justice on your own, but…
oh dear...we disagree far more than I'd expected...I'm not sure I want to argue against this blatant victim blaming 😮💨
btw, she wasn't making him jealous, he spread rumors around town that she was cheating on him, and entertaining other men. And he did it on purpose to tarnish her reputation so she lost credibility..

I get that...though I'd reserve judgement for when we know the whole truth.
what I don't get is what you think she should have done?? letting her abusive husband kill her? risking her daughter's well being?? I think she's in a lose/lose situation anyway
oh! that's a first! what dramas of him you've seen??
wow!! first time I see someone say they did not like him in Go ahead!! 😅(symphony's romance it's probably his worst drama, so I can't blame you there xD)
edit: TDOBY is my favorite, it's very fun, but if you dislike the premise it can't be helped ahah
I feel like show is trying too hard to make me feel bad for Nan Ya. We are exploring her past put only see what…
Just as bad?!?! Whoever was hurt by her had it coming...you can argue you can't serve justice on your own, but when your family and the institution failed you and hurt you again and again, you're gonna say, f**k it! and take matters in your own hands...
Besides, it's left to be seen what exactly she's guilty of..
Clearly I'm too biased as a novel reader I cannot judge the drama fairly 😅 I think it's good, but I feel sad about what Zhou Luo's character was reduced to.. Maybe later episodes will be better.

As for the lead couple, they meet again after a separation but there is no definite conclusion, you can think they go on and actually get together, it's a possibility.

Well, in the novel he's just a cop that used to know Nan Ya back in school. They don't have a very big relationship aside from when he's investigating. I don't think he ever liked her. They gave him a much bigger part in the drama.
guys if they are adapting everything based on the novel, can someone pls tell me the ending of both ML and FL…
FL escapes with her daughter and later builds a life elsewhere after serving some time in jail (cause she did commit some crimes). ML keeps going on with his life despite being heartbroken (that's an understatement) but later finds her again and they met positively but that's how the novel ends, we don't know how they go on from there.
edit: now I'm second guessing myself, I'm not sure whether she goes to jail or she manages to get away with less than that lol! but she does come clean to the police (the detective we have seen already in the first episode, here). also ZL finds her again a few years later, after finishing college and having a stable job.
one episode a day freetwo episodes a day vipevery day ^^
yup, it seems so, at least for the schedule they have released so far (because it's not complete yet) also to note, there is a SVIP option that is one episode ahead the normal VIP
