I mean, it would have been nice in that scene, but story wise not really, she was still married and her husband could have appeared there any moment?! there was no cheating in the original story (speaking of the main leads), I feel like they made it more ambiguous in the drama 😅
they changed the schedule last minute! I was just checking it last night and realizing the show was gonna end of Friday (tomorrow) ...now I checked again and sure enough it's only 1 episode today!! 26-27 tomorrow and 28 on Saturday! 😭

Well, the main thing from the novel that would not have passed the checks was the relationship between a teenager and a married woman 😅 ..ZL is 20/21 here, so that's not an issue, and similarly to the novel, there probably won't be any type of romantic relationship before the death of Xu Yi. This to say, whether they'll delete stuff, it's still too early to tell ahah! but it's definitely a possibility ~

It can be considered a happy ending, though it's quite open ended, also. But the drama has diverged quite a lot from some major points of the novel, so I wouldn't take that in consideration right now ~
Watching episode 20 made me think: Nan Ya is willingly taking all the blame for the death of Xu Yi, but it looks like she's hiding something; if Zhou Luo was involved and had an active hand in it, he wouldn't just stay put while Nan Ya was in jail??? Now, this is all cause they're trying to make us think that ZL is more than just a witness, but what if the two of them are misunderstanding each other's involvement in the death?? and trying to defend each other like that?? It sounds absurd even while I'm writing this lol!! 😅 I'm just confused ahah!! maybe I just don't understand this version of ZL as someone that got used to the novel's version of him 🥺
