i dont understand why they have to hold jitd just to giving way to another drama (if thats really the case) 😭😭…
ok, but the episode that was an issue is still there and was never actually removed xD (of course the current version is the unproblematic one)..also I noticed they edited some other scenes in later episodes too I don't think editing is causing such a delay...unless they have to completely re-do the whole thing 😭
ah...I've been wondering about that drama...is it an original work or adaptation?? can't stand it whenever I see…
I don't have problems with bros promoting...I just wish my bros could promote too 😭😭🥲 I guess the source material is what is creating issues 🤷🏻♀️ ...makes sense, I guess (no actually nothing makes sense here, but whatever...we can only wait and suffer ><)
youku tried playing games and "testing waters" (testing how much bl fans are out there and how much money is expected…
They messed up badly imo 😭😭 What worries me is being in a situation where they wasted their only chance, and now we will be forever stuck with 8 eps only....maybe in the future the circumstances might change again and the drama will be released, but as of right now I've given up hope almost completely 🥲 we'll see...
seems like the secret to successfully airing "bl" is attaching vague female love interest to one of the men. Pledge…
ah...I've been wondering about that drama...is it an original work or adaptation?? can't stand it whenever I see an all male cast promote together freely 🥲🥲
I watched this 3y ago but just now realized there are so many actors I didn't know back then that I recognize now xD (like Landy Li and Tan Jianci). Cute movie, I probably cried, also the pig was the funniest part ahahah!!!
If not for censored bl, no decent actor will work in these adaptions. In a way, it's good they are censored because…
Such a weird take 😅 South Korea is doing both at least...they've produced tenths of uncensored BLs in the last couple of years, and despite being smaller productions, some got fairly successful too. Them going the censored route is going backwards tbh...which is in line with how the world's going, I suppose 🙃
Also, despite being very few, Kdramas have queer representation too, even some pretty main-stream ones 🤔 Like, China should not be taken as an example to follow, here 😭
They're probably talking about book 2 Humbert Humbert...It deals with pedophilia...CN public is probably sensitive…
Ahaha! not really rumors, I've seen this type of talk even before the drama started airing, tbh. It's more people wondering how the production was able to adapt the drama so it would be allowed to air at all! xD
Yup, in the first case they basically cut all the police involvement in the crimes lol I'm assuming they did the same for whatever comes next too 👀
And yeah, though I haven't finished it yet, it was pretty clear where book 2 was headed..
Serious question, for a change: I keep seeing people (mostly Chinese) that have read Mo Du say that there's no way the next episodes can air. Specifically what they seem to refer to is that what the cases deal with is too problematic to be able to pass censorship, I guess. Now, don't know how true that is since the drama still got its license to air, after all 🤔
So, my question: without spoiling it too much (!!!! I'm currently reading and in the middle of book 2..still waiting for the rest of the drama to air before going too far 🥲) what is so sensitive about the novel or the cases presented that's gonna make it hard for it to air under those strict censorship rules or requirements???
Does anyone that has read the novel have an answer/insight??? 🤣
I didn't mean that to be rude, sorry, just let us be in denial here in peace 😭🤣

..it's not for me, though, since my mind has been taken over by Justice in the dark and I can't seem to watch anything else lmao 🙃

How about the rest of the novel, though?? 👀
